Geoff spruced up our generally shabby bathroom both very quickly and well; rebuilding a box around the sink, regrouting our floor tiles, plastering holes in the wall and painting. He was reliable and flexible, and worked around us in our small flat (and with a young baby). I'd definitely recommend him.

Sam a very pleasant young man came and did a quote and managed to fit us in before the decorator came. Tom, another really lovely young man did an amazing job fitting our new flooring. Oli made good the folly..... ...of my previous builder who walked off the job with no explanation and a hefty deposit for materials. After being let down royally by someone I thought I could trust, I had to contract a new tradesman to do the essential plastering and repair work that was left. Oli of J West & Son was that tradesman. I now have some pretty good plastered walls ready for painting, and some new coving in place of ragged holes. All should pass muster for viewings now thanks to someone reliable. Oli and Jordan, once again thanks for a lifesaving service.

Hamish was a lovely lad , happy with his work, have learnt though in future I would not employ a tradesperson on a day rate as I do think the jobs could have been done in less time!! also I did find his invoicing not very satisfactory I found I was paying for items that should not have been charged to me, I wasn’t given itemised receipt’s so didn’t know how much I was paying for items until I questioned the second invoice which was when I noticed several discrepancies, it was sorted out satisfactory I have no problem in recommending Hamish just would advise you ask exactly what your paying for before the work starts !!!

In 2014 Gary removed an internal wall, created a wide opening in another wall and installed a complete kitchen. This involved plumbing and electrical work. In 2017 Gary removed my old bathroom suite and installed a new one for me. I have been highly satisfied with both jobs. The work did not exceed the amount quoted and Gary's finish and attention to detail is exceptional. Gary treated my home and my pets with care and respect and I did not feel at all uncomfortable knowing he was in my home on occasion that I was unable to be there. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Gary.

Elliott and Jake were professional, friendly and wonderfully efficient. Elliott gave a rough estimate from outline drawings then a detailed quote from detailed drawings. They then built to that quote, explaining any variations with us and confirming the cost before progressing and keeping us informed at every stage. They worked quickly, cleanly and to a very high standard, with the minimum disruption to us. We would recommend them to anyone.
