The builders that arrived to do my job were very professional and covered my paths and floors before starting work and were very competent , Steve and terry in fact all of them did a great job .my now huge kitchen looks great . I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I would happily recommend this firm. They have recently constructed a substantial garden wall and patio for us and we are extremely pleased with the end result. I discussed the job with Bill and Josh at length and agreed a detailed specification, price and timescale which I am pleased to report they stuck to perfectly. Josh ran a team of labourers and tradesmen extremely efficiently through some very testing winter weather and kept me informed every step of the way. The lads working on site were very hard working, courteous and friendly and kept the site very tidy, taking great care to protect surrounding areas and driveway. Please ask to see photos of the job, there should be plenty showing both the before and after.

William turned up to provide a quotation when he said he would and clearly knew what he was talking about explaining why standard sand cement rendering would not be good enough. The external work was carried out to a finish which was better than expected as it involved adjusting the overhang of the roof tiles above the wall in question and the internal work involving the removal and replacement of an area of damp plaster in less than 5 hours. Excellent work

The job took 6 months and ran £20k over budget (mostly due to unforeseen extras). We found the standard of workmanship and attention to detail to be faultless. Right from day one when Bill managed to locate identical bricks to those used in the construction of our 20 year old bungalow. These were in Northampton, however we soon had a couple of pallets of them in Mansfield. Bills team were nice guys, very approachable and good at their jobs. They were also considerate of the neighbours, keeping the area clean and tidy. We are extremely happy with the end product - a stunning 35m2 lantern roofed extension, new kitchen and utility room, 2 new bathrooms and rewire. Not to mention extensive landscaping, creating patio and parking areas. We would undoubtedly hire Bill again for our next project - but hopefully not too soon!!

WE are both highly satisfied with William Bennett Construction, right from the first visit with Bill Bennett when he knew exactly what we wanted to create space in our kitchen, he organised the Structural Engineer and Building Notice, and kept us informed all the time. The work was carried out on schedule and to a very professional standard, all the lads were very friendly, efficient and also cleared up at the end of each day. We are very satisfied with the work we have had done. Our project involved combining the old with the new and the care and attention to detail was very impressive. We changed our original plan a little and nothing was a problem to Bill Bennett and his team. Bill coordinated and managed the project closely, communicating with us very well and visiting frequently. The team were all very polite, worked well together and kept a tidy site. We have no reservations in recommending them.

Bill and the team built us a great kitchen extension which we are very happy with. The work was completed to a high standard and looks great inside and out. Bill and the guys were friendly and professional throughout. Would recommend.

To begin with we were happy with the work and the pricing. The team were very good, quality was good, they were polite, good with the dogs and cleaned up after themselves. As we added more jobs to the list the pricing seemed to increase and some work was not done to the expected standard. Bill Bennett & I had a few challenging conversations about this and the relationship detiorated to the point where the job stopped. Bill pulled his team off the job without informing us, leaving behind equipment and unfinished work that we had to get other tradesmen in to complete. I would suggest if you are to hire this company, be very clear about what you want and write it down so there can be no misunderstandings about either the scope or the price - especially for extra works that crop after you have engaged them.

These builders were excellent and I can not recommend them highly enough, they were friendly, extremely skilled ( another tradesman commented upon their precision), quiet and tidy. If a problem arose they discussed it and offered solutions. I would without a doubt use them again. Thanks Bill and team!

William Bennett Construction Ltd have completed the building work on my kitchen/diner. I needed 2 internal walls removing and the walls making good. From start to finish Bill and the team have been amazing. I have been impressed with their professionalism and standard of work. Throughout the duration of the work the whole team were very respectful of my home and I was very pleased with the low level of distruption. I was expecting it to be a lot more hassle than it turned out to be. I was kept informed every step of the way and the guys always turned up when expected. The best thing was how quickly all the work was completed! I would not hesitate to recommend William Bennett Construction and they will be the only ones I call when next I need any work doing.
