We actually ended up doing a single storey extension and internal re-configuration of rooms (including moving the kitchen, adding underfloor heating etc.), so this was a big job! The extension involved a huge 9 metre steel beam which other builders were put off by but this didn't faze Johny. He knows everything about building, is an excellent problem solver and has a calm and friendly personality. Inevitably with a job of this size, unexpected things crop up, but Johny is customer-focused and finds solutions that you are happy with. Any necessary additional costs were explained and we felt they were reasonable. It is a family business and he has many of his brothers doing and overseeing the work. They all work incredibly hard and as a result, the work is done quickly and is very good quality. We moved out during the majority of the work but I visited the site most days and was always impressed. There were several decisions to make along the way and a few changes - Johny was flexible in this respect. He was always contactable by phone to discuss any aspect of the project. We have had the team back to do additional work such as boarding the loft - done at a fixed price, quickly and to an excellent standard. We would definitely use Johny for any future building work needs. We would like to thank all the team for their hard work creating our home!

The team was very friendly. They were very easy to communicate and did the work with care. They went extra mile to make me happy. Special thanks to Ovi who worked really hard to finish the work up to my satisfaction. I will hire them again for my next job.

We were so happy with the work Johnny and his team did, we hired them to do further work on our house. The job went from being a basic steel beam fitting to almost a complete renovation. His team works so fast, but always to a high standard. And they tidy up after themselves! Because the job turned into such a big project there were inevitably a few hiccups along the way, but these were dealt with quickly and professionally and we were always very happy with the resolution. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Johnny and his team.

An excellent team of hard-working professional builders in a family business. The final price was exactly as quoted. All work was done to a high standard and we are entirely satisfied with the result. Highly recommended.

Very good people , polite and hard working people

From day 1 when Claudio came over to have a look at the house for a quote, very professional and very polite. When the quote was send to me via email, everything were itemise on the quote so you know what you're pay for. The day the job started, Stefan and the boys, very quick and efficent. At the end of every day, they would tidy up after themselves. Everything they do, Stefan will explain everything to you before go ahead with it. The end result was brilliant, you know Johny and the boys have been in the trade for very long, their work is stunning. I've already passed on Johny's number to a few of my friends and i would not hestiate to use Johny again in the future. Very professional people they are!!!

We had just bought a new home and wanted to remove the chimney breasts for which we invited quotes from a few builders. Johny was comparable with the others, but his personality and affable nature made us lean towards him, and it started from there. In the middle of the chimney removal, we then asked him to replace the floorboards, repair the staircase, replace the bannister, break down the garden, lay a new patio, renovate the main bathroom, lay new flooring, break down a wall, remove a boiler, and the list goes on... I can't stress enough, he has an EXCELLENT TEAM, especially his brother George! Everyone knows what they're doing and have good suggestions on how to improve a room and what may/may not work. Most importantly, they understand your vision and will work their hardest to achieve it for you. All the work took 3 months and was finished on time and within budget. We've recommended him to everyone we know and we have more work that is going to go to Johny without a second thought! Thank you!

These guys were great! We had a kitchen and bathroom renovation project and they did a superb job. We previously had some bad experiences other with builders so weren't sure what to expect but they have restored my faith in tradesmen. They were friendly, tidy and respectful. We've got a couple more projects in the future and we'll definitely be contacting Johny the Builder again!! Highly recommend
