I worked with Chip from Johny's team on a complex project - removing a chimney breast from a victorian terraced ground floor flat, installing a new kitchen and bedroom for my son. Chip and his team were fantastic - they delivered on every stage, kept me informed throughout and nothing was a problem - no matter how late a request came in or changes that need to be made. As ever with a construction project, there were details that need to be fixed, but Chip was responsive, quickly sending out his team to resolve any issues. I feel like I've got a builder for life here - I would 100% use them for the next big project!

After meeting quite a few builders, we knew straight away that Johnny was our man. We read most of the House building magazines of which one of the main things to look for when choosing your builder is that you feel you could comfortably communicate and address any awkward problems. Unfortunately we had already booked an holiday which corresponded with a building start date, and all the assurances Johnny gave us whilst we were away where more than met and exceeded our expectations. Everyone encompasses problems from the foundation upwards, nothing was too much trouble for Johnny with his we can do attitude. He was open to different building methods, for example we had a pre-built Crown roof that Johnny had not had experience with before, but with communications with the manufacturer he completed the roof, and even went on a course to learn a new Flat roof system. Johnny and his workers were punctual and were there six days a week from 7.30-6pm. I would thoroughly recommend Johnny to anyone.

After getting a number of different quotes and meeting several builders, I decided to go with Johny and I couldn't be happier. Johny and his team did a fantastic job and we ended up increasing the scope of the work to include a double living room. The quality of the work is excellent, the price highly competitive and the team were fast, efficient, friendly and clean. I will be using Johny again soon to refurb our bathroom and I would recommend Johny the Builder to anyone.

We appointed JTB for our large extension and renovation project after putting the job out to tender and meeting with 6 other companies. We had some ridiculous quotes from several builders which we discounted. Johny came in at a fair price (not the cheapest, but not far off) and with a reasonable time estimate to complete the job. He could also start when we wanted (2 months after appointing ) which was perfect as the 2 other companies we were considering had very long lead times. We found Johny very honest and easy to deal with throughout the entire process and importantly, he was always available in person or by phone if needed. He has a large team - mainly brothers and cousins - and I cannot fault any of them. They were all incredibly polite, tidy and professional. The quality of the work is very good and they can turn their hand to any little extra that you may decide you want during the project. We had some last-minute built in storage cupboards in the eves in the loft room and a built-in media unit in the lounge that one of the team made to measure in a 3 or 4 days and have had lots of comments on them for family and friends! His pricing is fair and the work is of a high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. The job ran a little over the estimated time (not unusual) but importantly, to budget. We are extremely pleased with our new home and I would have no hesitation in recommending JTB.

Johny the Builder has provided their services to refurbish some areas of our house. From start to finish, Ionel was extremely professional and has always provided his best support to answer any questions we had and made himself available every time we needed him. He demonstrated very good communication, he is friendly and has a can-do attitude well in line with what Johny the Builder delivers. Ionel's knowledge of building improvements is limitless. His team has been competent, respectful and made sure that we were not disturbed as much as possible. This was really appreciated whilst we have young aged children. They also were very punctual and are hardworkers. The refurbishing job has proved to be very well executed. Ionel has always been patient waiting for our choices for the materials or finishing for the decoration. We also went abroad for holidays and he constantly kept us aware of the progress with photos. This was even greater when you are meant to be stress-free during a break. We would recommend Johny the Builder to anyone that would need a very good and very professional Building company. Thank you Johny the Builder, thanks to you we now love our home!

We were really impressed with Johny and his team. Polite, tidy and respectful in the house. They removed a chimney breast and a wall as well as repostioning a boiler and a radiator and preparing the brickwork for a new external door and window. The price was good and the quality of the work was too. They worked quickly too. I would be very happy to use Johny again and recommend him.

Johny and his team worked very well to get our living room knock through done. We had some issues with the council being extremely difficult regarding building regulations, I’d advise to avoid using them at all costs and hire an alternative building regs company. However, once this was eventually sorted work proceeded quickly and efficiently at a fair price. Johny was flexible and accommodating and then worked hard to get the job done. Would use again!

Can't thank Johnny enough for the great job his team did rendering our house and fitting all new guttering, soffits and facias. Johnny and his team were professional, hardworking and we couldn't have got a better finish, and he used all the best materials on the market. A couple of our neighbours have commented on the quality of the work and have asked for Johnny's number, and we will be using his services again for some further work on the house in the near future. Very reasonably priced too. Would 100% recommend Johnny for your building needs. Thanks again.

The finished job was good. John always answered his phone promptly and sorted out any concerns promptly The rubbish was cleared quickly and did not build up. He got the trades in that were required and was patient with the timelines that I had. I would recommend him, as the job was big and was completed very swiftly.
