I employed Sean to decorate a 4 bed Edwardian house, with many period details, that had been refurbished throughout. Sean did a great job overall and I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to anyone in my area. The quality of the finished work was good. The quality of the attention paid by Sean to my needs as a client however was exceptional. He makes evey effort possible to work with his client to overcome the many problems that finishing an older house produce - he is detailed, knowledgeable, helpful, fastidious and overall worked with me on the job in a way that went beyond the brief of simply decorating the house.

Sean painted some newly plastered walls for me. He carried out a good job at a sensible price and was 100% reliable. I'd be happy to recommend Sean for any future works.

I hired Sean to install solid oak floorboards in my hallway. This was a difficult and cumbersome job as the hallway has 8 doors and a double L-shape. Moreover the existing floorboards were not level. However, thanks to Sean’s amazing attention to detail, I now have a beautifully finished oak floor! To level out the floor he first installed plywood with underlay. While laying the floorboards, he took great care to align the boards so that they create a straight line throughout the hallway, which was not an easy task given the double L-shape on one side of the room. I was very impressed with Sean’s polite and professional approach, the clarity of the detailed written quote he provided and his outstanding communication skills. Throughout the project he provided me with detailed progress updates and ensured that his work was meeting my expectations and he was achieving the look I had envisaged for my hallway. He also went out of his way to help me source exactly the type of floorboards I was looking for. Sean was always punctual and extremely tidy. The tool range he uses has dust extractors so despite a lot of woodcutting, there was hardly any dust to deal with. I am over the moon with the new look of my hallway and would have no hesitation to recommend Sean or hire him for future jobs. A really big Thank you to Sean for such a brilliant job!

We are a company that needs to move offices every year as our team expand due to the nature of the business. When we eventually found a suitable space we posted an Ad on mybuilder.com which Sean Lewis promptly responded to. Within a matter of a few days a site visit had been done and he quotated instantly. We run on quite a strict timeframe and Sean was more than happy to help out with this and work within the frame. The finished product was extremely professional and even now if there was a problem would be no hesitation in calling him back. We would definitely recommend his services.

If you are looking for someone who is good, honest, tidy, considerate and hard working, look no further. The work he did was highly commendable but my only wish was that the costs of materials were keener.

Sean refurbished our 1 bedroom rental property. This involved decorating and fitting laminate flooring in the bedroom , living room and hallway. It was a lot of work and we had quite a tight deadline as we had a new tenant waiting to move in. Sean just got on with the job, he put in long hours, kept me up to speed on progress and charged me exactly what he had originally quoted. I found to be very proactive and communication skills were first rate. The quality of his work is excellent, he has a keen eye for detail. He even delivered on his promise to leave the flat spotless for our new tenant when he was finished. He’s a real gem and we would have no hesitation in hiring him again.

I hired Sean to do some painting and decorating in my new home. He has decorated 4 bedrooms (one of which was a new loft conversation), two bathrooms, a stairway and a hallway. The work involved totally stripping all the old paint off the woodwork, putting in cornices, building my son a desk, replacing all electric sockets and light fittings, relocating radiators, planning and organising a plasterer and helping with the colour scheme. The finished job is amazing and of outstanding quality and my kids love their new bedrooms. Deadlines were met and no charge for extra little bits and pieces. The best thing about Sean's work is that he uses tools that suck away the dust so not only was the work brilliant but I had a dust free house. A first in all my past experiences of house renovations. I can highly recommend Sean and would be happy for anyone to come and see the work he has done for me.
