Sean did a fantastic work installing laminated wood floor on our 3 bedroom apartment. The communication was always excellent, the quality of the work brilliant and I would defiantly hire him again.

We hired Sean and his team to fit our small kitchen. When he came to quote Sean assured us his team had fitted several kitchens and when we asked if we should provide a plumber and electrician we were told there were qualified members of his team. Unfortunately there were a number of issues with the workmanship (basic errors like using screws that were too big and therefore rupturing the units and leaving it like that until we pointed it out) and there were issues with both the electrical and plumbing work. We had to get an electrician and a plumber out to fix problems and leaks. Communication wasn't great - we had to ask our kitchen supplier to get the units in early as Sean wanted to start the job earlier than agreed, and then the other team member stopped working on the job which slowed everything down. We were also unhappy that they started working late into the evening - 9pm - without asking us if that was OK. Clearly because they had other stuff on. We realise none of this was intended, however the fact remains that we've had to fix many of the problems ourselves or bring in other tradesmen to fix them. Although Sean offered to try to resolve these problems, after a fortnight of having to bring his attention to these errors and finding ourselves in a position where he clearly didn't know how to fit the dishwasher correctly, we lost faith.

I have been trying to get these benches made for quite some time so was pleased to meet Sean. He was completely open about the fact that this was not his usual type of work but at the same time said he was confident that he could do it and I believed him. We spent a long time discussing my options regarding materials and measurements and he made sure I was happy with everything. He has just delivered the benches to me, well within the time frame promised. I am very happy with them and the whole service I have received. I will be asking Sean to quote for some shelving I plan to have built in the new year. I am happy to recommend him.

Sean has done an excellent job fitting wood flooring for us. The work was finished on time and for less than the original quote. I can't imagine that there is anyone out there that could have done a better job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others and having seen the extremely high quality of his work we are already planning to use him again.

Sean and Victor were excellent, arrived promptly, really tidy and polite.Sean has done an excellent job and is a perfectionist. I have had many tradesmen before but none as professional and conciencious as Sean and co. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them and would definately use A SKillful Tradesmen 4U again. The team did a great job with our flooring. Sean informed me about all possibilities at first, then completed the job according to our requests with a great deal of care and quality. Very happy about the finish. The team was very nice and tidy. Good job.

Sean and the team did a great job with my wood floor and it wasn't the easiest of jobs because the sub-floor was very uneven due to historic movement and previous poor workmanship when the house was originally partitioned into flats. I found Sean to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of his trade and he always had a range of options to hand to deal with any problem that we came across. Communication and pricing were clear and the team also worked very long hours and weekends to get the job done on time.

Sean was extremely knowledgable and thorough in his work. He came round twice to look at the site and properly discuss our options before issuing us with a detailed quote. The work was carried out efficiently and extremely professionally and he kept us updated every step of the way. The shelves were completed on time and with virtually no disruption to us. And most importantly, they look fantastic!

I cannot recommend the services of A Skillful Tradesmen 4 You highly enough. Sean and his team recently installed a new floor in our living area and hallway (44m2 in total). The job was complicated by water damage to the old floor, a requirement to retain the existing skirting boards, and an 8 month old baby. We are thrilled with the result and with the level of professionalism received. They completed the job to an extremely high standard, kept to the budget quoted, were available for consultation at all times, left our flat extremely clean at all times, negotiated with suppliers on our behalf and performed the work on the exact dates they said they would. This is exceptional in the London building trade in my experience. Unlike other tradesmen we have used, our family was able to clear out of London while the work was being done and feel entirely confident that an excellent job was being performed in our absence. Sean is very methodical and kept me informed of progress at all times. He and his team built me 2 cupboard/shelf units and I'm very happy with the finish. I appreciated his care for the quality of work and leaving the room clean at the end of the job. Would be happy to hire him for further work and recommend him to others.
