Sean and his team have restored my faith in builders! We are a small charity who moved office premises and AST4U undertook the refurbishment of the new office working to a very tight completion deadline. This including putting up stud walls, laying floors, building cupboards, changing the electrics, building a disabled toilet. Despite encountering many unforeseen challenges along the way, Sean delivered on time to a very high level managing to overcome problems and changes with a real "can do" attitude and working out of office hours and all over Easter to deliver. Sean is through, well organised and is totally committed to delivering a first class job with a great attention to detail. He impressed me at the start in the way he prepared the quote and this impression carried on throughout the project. I have no hesitation in recommending that AST4U be your first port of call if you are looking for a great builder company who offer professionalism, quality and excellent value for money.

Sean and his team did a fantastic job fitting laminate flooring in our office. He came to the office beforehand to check exactly what it is we wanted and provided a very thorough and reasonable quote. He was very flexible on timings and fitted the floor over a number of evenings, out of office hours so as to reduce disruption to the office. Sean also kindly purchased the quadrant beading, threshold bars and underlay on our behalf. The floor was fitted efficiently and to a very high standard and I'm really pleased with the job. I would highly recommend AST4U.

Sean and his team delivered a great finished engineered floor at a competitive price throughout our new house. Quick and professional the whole time, would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The one draw back was a bit of miscommunication at the start causing slight delay as part of the already laid floor had to be redone: this was definitely down to the more than busy Christmas period into which Sean and his team accommodated us at short notice. The response to the mistake once spotted was top notch (no arguments, no fuss, simply rectified the cock up and still finished the job in the originally specified time). Overall we are more than happy with the end result and would recommend him to anyone that asks.

I hired Sean to lay a new engineered wood floor on my newly purchased flat. From the get go, Sean was incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. His provision of an extremely detailed quote with various pricing options was both reassuring and useful when it came time to make my final decisions on my flooring. The flooring was laid when great skill, care and attention to detail, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Sean and his team were reliable, timely, skilful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I hired Sean to install engineered wood flooring upstairs bedrooms and landing area (48 sq. m). He was very knowledgeable and helpful providing advice on the best materials and installation method, and at the same time he was flexible to work with the materials I decided to procure myself. Sean has great attention to detail, he is professional and considerate. Sean kept me informed of the progress throughout the job and would always consult with me, asking my opinion before proceeding with tricky areas. I'm thrilled with my new wooden floors :)

Excellent work for a fair cost. Not only has Sean completed the work to a high standard, but he went out of his way to make sure that even before he started that everything was protected first so no damage could be done to anything nearby or any of the materials. Sean basically helped me create my vision for my modern creative meeting room into real life. He took great care and attention through the project even for the small details, asking me at every stage if I was happy how it was progressing which each step. Sean is very dedicated and was VERY particular to perfect finishing to the mm of every little corner, some may think abnormally so (at least in this day and age its very hard to find people who want to perfect everything for you so you are not just 99% happy but 101% happy). While he was here building the feature wall, he also fixed my other blank wall and its cracks perfectly and painted and sanded everything else in the room to perfection so that everything looked perfect and not just the feature he was working on. I can confirm he is excellent at carpentry, designing and also finishing. Very highly recommended, especially if you need high-end finishing, a guy who won’t cut corners, and if you need a proper well educated English gentleman who will listen to you and understand intelligently what you need to achieve. Sean transformed our dilapidated space into an amazing one. We employed him to refurbish and fit-out a new cafe in Finchley and he exceeded our expectations. He is refreshingly diligent, meticulous and very thorough. But most of all has shown a real love for his craft and the project, which is rare these days. Everything he has done for us was carried out to the highest standard, and it seems that nothing less than perfect is good enough for Sean and his team. He was employed on a labour only basis, but to ensure that the project was delivered on time and to his exacting standards he took over the role of ordering all the materials for us at no extra charge, and when the project was close to the agreed deadline, he stayed on site to work until 11:00 pm some nights to ensure that the work is delivered on the agreed date (which it was). We are very happy with what he has done and will work with him again in the future. Highly recommended.
