I am over the moon with Sean Lewis and his team, who provided a top quality wood flooring installation and total repainting of walls, ceilings, doors and sash windows ON TIME and for a FAIR PRICE! I recently purchased a 2 bedroom flat in a Victorian mansion block which had partial wood flooring, carpets, sash windows and painted walls. I wanted to replace the floors throughout with dark engineered wood and repaint everything in a neutral colour. I obtained several quotes through mybuilder.com and Sean's was slightly higher than most but I decided to meet him on the basis of his excellent profile, communication and feedback. When I met Sean I was immediately convinced that his professionalism justified his higher costs. Sean took me through all the options for the work I wanted doing (including showing me samples of materials), explaining in detail how the work would take place. I explained that I was on a tight schedule and the work had to be completed within 4 weeks, including the Christmas period! Sean gave me a target date of 4 weeks but in the end finished almost a week early. When I popped in to inspect the work halfway through Sean had a team of 3 others helping him and everything was tidy and professional. Sean and his team provided a completely stress-free service, handling all delivery of material and removal of waste and final clean up. The quality of the work is top notch and I will certainly recommend him to all my friends and friends! Thanks again.

Reasons to recommend AST4U - Contacted me within 4 hours, attended site to quote 24 hours later. Provided very detailed quote, it was clear to see where money was going. Introduced me to staff on site, site operations run by Courtney. All site staff professional, friendly and swift at the job. Great communications from Courtney and Sean, I always knew how the job was progressing. Quality workmanship, positive attitude, easy to deal with. Great outcome, good price.

Sean and his team have restored my faith in builders! We are a small charity who moved office premises and AST4U undertook the refurbishment of the new office working to a very tight completion deadline. This including putting up stud walls, laying floors, building cupboards, changing the electrics, building a disabled toilet. Despite encountering many unforeseen challenges along the way, Sean delivered on time to a very high level managing to overcome problems and changes with a real "can do" attitude and working out of office hours and all over Easter to deliver. Sean is through, well organised and is totally committed to delivering a first class job with a great attention to detail. He impressed me at the start in the way he prepared the quote and this impression carried on throughout the project. I have no hesitation in recommending that AST4U be your first port of call if you are looking for a great builder company who offer professionalism, quality and excellent value for money.

Sean was very helpful and understanding with the dynamics of the job. His team were very professional and I would definitely recommend Sean to family and friends.

Sean and his team did a great job - they were punctual, they kept to their timescales and I was really impressed by the work they did. Sean knows his stuff, and went the extra mile to make sure I was getting in all the right stuff & we both knew how the flooring project was going to go before work started. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Did a good job, consulted us on potential issues and helped work through them. We were happy with the end result.

Sean and his team did a fantastic job fitting laminate flooring in our office. He came to the office beforehand to check exactly what it is we wanted and provided a very thorough and reasonable quote. He was very flexible on timings and fitted the floor over a number of evenings, out of office hours so as to reduce disruption to the office. Sean also kindly purchased the quadrant beading, threshold bars and underlay on our behalf. The floor was fitted efficiently and to a very high standard and I'm really pleased with the job. I would highly recommend AST4U.

Sean and his team delivered a great finished engineered floor at a competitive price throughout our new house. Quick and professional the whole time, would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The one draw back was a bit of miscommunication at the start causing slight delay as part of the already laid floor had to be redone: this was definitely down to the more than busy Christmas period into which Sean and his team accommodated us at short notice. The response to the mistake once spotted was top notch (no arguments, no fuss, simply rectified the cock up and still finished the job in the originally specified time). Overall we are more than happy with the end result and would recommend him to anyone that asks.

I hired Sean to lay a new engineered wood floor on my newly purchased flat. From the get go, Sean was incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. His provision of an extremely detailed quote with various pricing options was both reassuring and useful when it came time to make my final decisions on my flooring. The flooring was laid when great skill, care and attention to detail, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Sean and his team were reliable, timely, skilful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will be using Sean's services again in the future.

I hired Sean to install engineered wood flooring upstairs bedrooms and landing area (48 sq. m). He was very knowledgeable and helpful providing advice on the best materials and installation method, and at the same time he was flexible to work with the materials I decided to procure myself. Sean has great attention to detail, he is professional and considerate. Sean kept me informed of the progress throughout the job and would always consult with me, asking my opinion before proceeding with tricky areas. I'm thrilled with my new wooden floors :)
