S.E.M maintenance services reviews (85)

The job was done quick and to a high standard. Thank you.

Arrived early, got on with job, did exactly as stated.

Builder arrived on time and insulated the carport ceiling. Showed me what he had done and left the carport clean and tidy. Excellent service. I am very pleased but I don't think the spiders were too happy about it.

Best experience of a tradesman ever. Super competent, punctual, professional, and great communication. I’ve used a lot of tradesmen over the years and Simon is right at the top of the list. Nothing too much trouble, and it was a tricky job. Extremely thorough and professional. Works hard, quickly and cleans up. Absolutely can recommend S.E.M, would use him again in a heartbeat, thank you Simon,

Simon from SEM did an excellent job. My loft insulation job was carried out on budget and ahead of time. The work was to a very high standard. Simon and his colleague were very polite, punctual and respectful and left the place clean and tidy. Simon was also very good about taking a lot of photos so I could provide these for the EPC. A job well done! Thank you. Helen R.

Simon and his team turned up on time, once there did a quick and clean loft insulation fantastic job . Would highly recommend.

Job was completed exactly as agreed with Simon. House was left clean and all rubbish was removed. They did a fantastic job. Would definitely use them again.

On time, friendly duo. Excellent work, can't be faulted. Best quote that I received, too.

Had 2 external doors fitted, verander roof cleaned off and some guttering for rainfall on front of verander. On day of job team of 2 were here 8 hours, fitted doors that we didn't choose. We inspected afterwards and strike plates didn't align with latches and locks and guttering wasn't wide enough to catch rainfall. Evidence sent and they returned to correct doors which only improved slightly and came again a third time to fit new guttering. A few months on and both doors latches were catching on strike plates. Now just over 7 months on and the guttering is OK but one of the locks on doors has broken which we now cannot open at all, the other doors lock is difficult to open and close, the door handles are rusting and the doors are splitting despite us painting them in the paint recommended. We hired S.E.M. based on previous reviews but we paid £1800 for the work and we don't think it was up to standard. Update Jan 2025 - Door handle snapped clean off, lasted less than 12 months.
