Rae and his colleagues were very professional and efficient. They came in early everyday and got our garage conversion done to a great standard. Whenever we needed slight changes, Rae would make sure to implement them for happy results. They also tidied up after themselves after the job. Thank you for being such a cooperative and friendly team.

Richard was fantastic. Great attention to detail, clean and tidy work and nothing too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

RCM Carpentry is in the last phase of a project at my new house which included major internal renovation and an extension. In addition Rae Mackay, Director of RCM, project managed the other work being carried out by independent contractors. This included a new wet underfloor heating system throughout and rewiring of the house. Rae also oversaw the security of the property and coordination and management of materials and other items arriving at the house. He liaised with neighbours on my behalf to ensure we did not inconvenience them. He provided me at the outset with a clear budget, a payment schedule and regular updates on the progress of the work including photos. All projects run into challenges of course and sometimes additional work is needed and Rae dealt with these effectively. I could not live in the house while the work was being carried out and could not visit the site regularly but this was not a problem because of Rae’s project management skills and the excellent work of him and his great team. I cannot recommend RCM highly enough.

From the start Rae gave us advice and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the work. Excellent communication, absolutely reliable and well organised; Rae has a brilliant network of tradesmen. Despite some weather issues the job was done in record speed, and whenever something went wrong, they did everything to solve any problems and it was fixed quickly. Rae and his team (especially Phil) did a fantastic job, they were very helpful and no question was ever too much trouble. It was a pleasure to have them around, we actually missed them when the job was done - hope they return to do some other jobs for us.

Unfortunately, we were unable to get the work done due to financial issues, however, throughout the process Rae communicated well and patiently and kept in touch over what became a long drawn out process that ultimately failed! Hopefully when we do get the funds we will be ready to engage with him again.

Rae and his team of hard-working, polite builders have completed a fantastic rear, single storey extension for us over the timescale they estimated at the price they estimated. Rae will go out of his way to secure you the right price and offer advice and solutions when a build throws you a curve ball (as they always do!). This is our 3rd project of this type and Rae has kept us sane and we are very pleased with the result - thank you to Rae, Phil and the rest of the team!

Rae and his team have been nothing short of fantastic and I could not recommend them highly enough. We had two friends who had previously used Rae and we did not hesitate to instruct his company after their own experiences and obvious quality of work. The whole team have been a pleasure to have in our home and they have always been clean, tidy and completely professional the whole time. On budget, no dramas and all completed within the proposed timescales. You will not regret using them! Rae builds as if it was his own home and the standard is top notch. Five stars all the way.

Top job, quick, neat and tidy. Would hire again 👍🏻

Very punctual, polite, & tidy! Great job Rae & Aaron. Will keep details for any future jobs. Many thanks, Caroline

Rae and his team completed a large complicated single storey extension and replacement dormer and new ensuite at our property. Nothing was too much trouble for Rae and he sorted all minor issues without any problems. We are delighted with the end result. The project was finished on time and at a competitive price. All the team were extremely polite. One of the most impressive things about Rae was his speedy communication so we always knew we could count on him, to respond immediately, even out of hours! We have no hesitation in recommending Rae and his boys.
