Rae and his team have just completed a 5x4m rear extension for us and we are very pleased with it. It was completed in record time and looks great. The price was very good and there were no unexpected extras added. The inevitable unforseen hic-ups of building work were dealt with immediately. They are reliable and have a good set of tradesmen carrying out the various elements of the job. I was inside the house, and he had no idea I was there, but I overheard Rae saying to his team "all you want is for the customer to be happy" which says everything really!

Rae and his team did a good job for us when they demolished our old porch and built a new one and we would recommend them to others looking to have similar work undertaken. They kept within the price quoted and undertook the work in a timely way, arriving promptly on site each day and not disappearing off to other jobs. They left the site clean and tidy and they are a nice team to deal with. We are satisfied with the end result.

We hired Rae and his team to covert our loft into a master suit with ensuite. The whole team did a fantastic skilful job. We are extremely happy with the level of quality. Rae is excellent at keeping you updated, constantly keeping us fully updated and sending photos showing progress while at work. Rae is always contactable by phone which is extremely reassuring when building works are going on. Problem solving skills and the workmanship is exceptional. We would highly recommend RCM Carpentry so much so we are now about to start works with them again for a rear and side extension.

We were very happy with the work Rae did . The wall was taken down very quickly and efficiently All the debris was removed and the condition of the house was left in a good condition We would highly recommend Rae and would use his services again in the future. Greg and Sharon, Brighton.

Rae was highly recommended to us by friends and previous customers who he had completed a loft extension locally to us the year before . Rae communication is excellent and kept the project well within the timescales and on budget. Making it very clear if anything was extra, so no nasty surprises at the end. Rae offered support and advice at each stage of the process . No questions seemed too much trouble( and I had many ). Rae provided ideas and solutions which made us feel like we had a bespoke service . Rae kept us up to date with texts and photos . Rae and his team are trustworthy and their work ethic is exemplary. We enjoyed having Rae and his team around . Very pleased with our new bedroom and bathroom space they have created for us and we would highly recommend them .

Rae Mackay and his brilliant team (especially Phil) have done an amazing kitchen conversion job. It is now a total transformation from a small, cramped galley kitchen to an open, bright and modern kitchen space which I will enjoy using. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have been kept informed of each stage of work. A big thank you to Rae for keeping the work flowing and finishing on time I recommend the team 100%.

Rae and his team have done a great job for us. They completed the work ahead of schedule and as agreed, we couldn’t be happier. We really felt that Rae was looking out for us during the process, his communication and commitment were faultless. Thanks again Rae we would always recommend you to anyone that asked.

RCM carpentry are in the last phase of completing a two storey extension for me. I cannot praise Rae and his team highly enough. Rae is managing the project with professionalism; the flow of work, staff and materials is excellent as is communication, budget reporting and control. The quality of the work is A grade throughout and the team are very hard working. I can strongly recommend them.

Rae and his team worked really hard to get everything right for us, and make sure we were happy. They go above and beyond what you would expect from a builder and are always prepared to stay late to get the job done, sometimes working from 7.30am to 6.30pm at night, and weekends if necessary. The finished extension looks amazing; we are really pleased with it. Rae is very approachable and always able to offer a solution to any problems that may arise on the way. They work efficiently and carefully to get the job done. We hired them to do our loft conversion and the downstairs extension; both were done in record time, but without compromising on quality. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Rae and his team have been fantsatic. No matter what my house threw at them they found a solution! We needed them to do the structural bits for a loft conversion, windows and stairs. They finished ahead of time and worked with as little mess as possible. Great communication. Thanks guys
