Really pleased with the work that Anthony completed. He's a reliable and hard working builder and did a really good job. Very professional and would certainly approach him again if we ever need a builder.

I was slightly put-off by a negative comment left by a previous client but booked Anthony on the basis that he responded quickly and with a reasonable quote based on photographic evidence. This, together with the very many positive quotes made me contact Anthony and I'm very pleased I did. He was very efficient, polite and effective and solved my problem quickly, with no fuss and billed exactly as he had quoted. I cannot recommend him enough and will certainly be recommending him to friends and family in London where it is so hard to find a decent and reasonably priced plumber.

If you are contemplating hiring Anthony I strongly recommend you read this first. My dealings with Anthony turned into a nightmare; I needed help from my lawyer friend to stop him threatening me. Anthony gave me a quote of £2250. Two days before completion, the bill went up to £5180. When I refused to pay that amount, he threatened to come back every month to collect the difference and to take me to court. • I hired Anthony to re-do my bathroom which involved moving the toilet & pipework, installing a towel radiator, wet room shower and tiling • He gave me a quote (not estimate) of £2100 for labour & an estimate of £150 for materials. Told me if and when materials exceeded budget, he would keep me updated • A week in, he updated me on extra costs: £287 for materials and a confusing email that seemed to read £320 extra for labour. I asked for confirmation of the costs which he didn’t provide and carried on with work • Two days before completion, he gave me a new bill of £5180 (original quote £2100 + £880 for materials & £2200 for extra labour) • In the end I only paid a total of £2100 which shows he was trying to rip me off To make matters worse, the shower panel was not fitted according to manufacturer’s instructions and is now leaking. He also damaged my new floors. When I sent him photos of the damages he said I had fabricated the photos. This feedback will probably be met with excuses. I would highly recommend Antony Nichols and Decorum Property Maintenance. From the beginning he has been courteous, friendly and professional and he has done the work quickly and really well and without any mess, I am so pleased. I would definitely use him again and will be in the very near future.

Anthony was brilliant, punctual, tidy, well-organised, efficient and got the job(s) done. We will be very happy to use him again and have actually agreed for him to come back to do the window-sealing job. Highly recommended.
