This contractor ripped me off £1500. I booked him almost 2 years ago to fit bifold doors. After a £1350 deposit, paying another £150 for building regs then weeks of delaying and coming up with various excuses I finally confronted him and he told me to ‘get my doors elsewhere’. He didn’t refund my deposit despite saying he would. I reported him to the police with extensive written evidence - but it was eventually deemed a civil matter after he claimed I changed my mind, despite the police officer telling me they’d ’come across’ him before and with all my evidence he felt sure they’d get him for theft. The whole experience triggered serious health issues for me hence the delay in leaving a review. There isn’t room here to detail the experience (though I’d happily share my evidence) but he’s a scammer and I am just starting the process of taking action against him. I seriously wonder how he’s got 59 all 5 star reviews here when genuine excellent contractors have lower scores.

Scot did a wonderful job converting a window to door. I couldn't be happier with the job. The finish is lovely, he worked late to make sure I was happy and was a pleasure to have working in my house. I'd have no hesitation in asking him to do similar work in the future and will be recommending him to anyone who's looking for this work to be done

Scot and the the team completed some complex work, involving new lintels to rectify poor workmanship by a well known double glazing company. The work was completed on time and done professionally we have had no issues with water ingress or movement since. I can thoroughly recommend Outdoor Living Systems for a sensible down to earth attitude honest pricing and Scot's cheery maner

Incredibly impressed with Outdoor living systems from start to finish. I had an extension built and the French doors needed to be taken out and fitted to the new openings, however it was not a straightforward in and out job. Scot came out had a look and said he would try and rectify it but he didn’t seem to concerned. At no point did Scot push me to buy a new doors or extra cost whilst on the job. Scot and his teams are genuine honest guys who are fully qualified, and he knows his stuff too. At the booking stage he gave me a price the next day and double checked with me that everything I had selected was exactly what I wanted. Scot said the doors would take roughly half a day to fit, due to some extra working for one on the doors. The guy’s working for him were very professional, everything tidied up as they went, plus they just cracked on with the job. The doors were finished and were just looking great, as could see the quality of the fitting and finish. If you want a great professional job I would highly recommend Scot and his team.

I had 2 new posts and 1 panel added to support the boundary fence at the back of the house. The fence is more steady now. Good job done.

We chose Outdoor Living Systems having read all 52 previous positive reviews. We asked Scot to remove an existing decking, get rid of all waste and lay new composite decking to a new design. They carried out an absolutely wonderful installation down to the last screw! The finished decking can only be described as outstanding. Scot is a time served joiner and obviously excellent at his craft. His attitude to work is to do everything to the highest standard as he would in his own home. He and his team went the extra mile to do a perfect job. When they finished, they tidied up leaving our garden looking good. We are delighted with the finished job and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Window replacement was of high standard, well finished. A lot of cleaning afterwards was required as dust from cutting render was all over kitchen.

I would recomend Scot and definitely call him again to carry out work on our property.
