Laminate Floor
Karl did an OK job of replacing a like for like laminate floor which had been water damaged, one board was cut a bit too short and I had to fit the skirting board a bit proud to cover it. Also the bill was 20% more than the quoted price, Karl did ask if this was OK but it puts you in a difficult position. Would I recommend Karl, I'm not sure.
Answer from tradesperson:
I quoted this customer £100 to uplift and dispose of 12 sqr mtr's of Laminate and fit new. He then said there is just one thing to clarify. I called him and he said would I waterproof it with his own materials. I agreed and charged £20 because of time. I left the job in imaculate condition, pleasently asking "has everything been ok for you today sir". My customer is right, I did charge 20% more, just £20 however he did add the waterproofing on after the £100 quote was given. If you are ever unhappy with any element of my work please let me know as I will be happy to make any alterations, as you can see from previous feedback I pride myself on excelent fitting and customer satisfaction.
