I hired Hector to do general refurbishment including pulling down a brick wall, plastering and painting and am very happy with the result as well as the entire process. Communication was easy and they were available and flexible throughout the works, always left the site clean as possible at the end of the day. Will definitely hire again.

Poor standard of finish in some areas. No response to follow up issues.

Hector and his team are dedicated, honest, hard working constuction trades builders. They have done a wonderful job of coverting a separate toilet and bathroom, into a wonderful high quality, disabled wetroom for my 95yr old neighbour. They kept to schedule, dedicated long hours and Saturdays, to ensure the job was completed on time and to the highest standards. I would highly recommend this company for quality and reliability.

Hector and his team did a great job on the 2 bed refurbishment. Throughout the project Hector and the team were very professional and accommodating. He was very quick in providing a comprehensive quote and competitively priced. There were a couple issues during the refurbishment but Hectors team quickly rectified the problem. The team were all nice, courteous and hardworking. I would recommend Hector and his team for any works that you may have

I found Hector through this website, rather than via a friend or word of mouth - all feedback for genesis was positive and Hector seemed both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the job so I hired Genesis. Normally i’d use a builder recommended by a friend / acquaintance rather than through a website so I was anxious initially. I needn’t have worried, the team did a wonderful job on the entire refurb of a Georgian GF and LG flat in N1. Much of the job wasn’t straight forward and the team came up with pragmatic solutions and always persevered to meet expectation / demand. In particular the team remedied a long standing damp-proofing problem that 2x damp-proofing companies had failed to solve in the past. Pricing was fair and an explanation / further detail was provided in quotes and the final adjustment. The team always kept me well informed via calls and emails on progress. As a last point the job finished on schedule (a few days early tbh) but also the team punctually stopped by to tidy up a few minor snag items after the job was completed. The whole project ran smoothly and on budget, moreover I was delighted with the outcome. I fully intend to use hector on other refurb jobs in the future. Ed A

Hector and his workers did a great job . They started on time and kept exactly to the estimate both in terms of price and the time for doing the job . Hector brings his own ideas to the job which is a plus .

Very good work...all to schedule,completed to a high finish and attention to detail and done by a smalk team of friendly trustworthy hard workers who communicated well on all fronts. I would highly recommend them...

Overall work was good. Hector is trustworthy and commiunicates the process/progress well. Some of the finishing was a little less than perfect, but nothing serious.
