We used HunBuild to knock down an internal wall between the living and dining room. they did an absolutely outstanding job! They were hard working, efficient and finished the job at a super high standard. Even though the actual builders dont speak lots of english, the site manager George and Adam do so it doesnt matter. I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them.

HunBuild did a great job taking down a load bearing wall and fitting the steel structure required. Their team has been very professional, always on time, polite and made the effort to tidy up behind them every evening. They charge cost of materials as per actuals and send scans of invoices. Only issue was the cost of the materials was under estimated which can be an issue if you have a tight budget. They are not the cheapest but do a good job. Would recommend and use again especially for major jobs.

Job completed in a satisfactory manner on time... Work force always polite and endeavoured to keep dirt to a minimum.. Would use again in price was right...

Andrew, Adam and the rest of the HunBuild team were fantastic throughout the works to secure my chimney breast. The quotation was prompt and very reasonable. The actual building works carried out were of excellent quality and passed a thorough buildings inspections by the council without fault. I will happily recommend the HunBuild team and thank them for their hard work!

I highly recommend HunBuild. We knocked through a wall between our kitchen and dining room, and had various other bits of work done in the kitchen. Adam and the various tradesmen he uses were all professional, polite, and did a good job. Adam communicated well through out the job, keeping us updated about any issues that came up and the possible solutions. The team were all people we felt happy to have in our home.

A very professional group of gents to deal with. The end result is of a high standard and a few teething issues were resolved shortly after I had mentioned them. Price was fixed so the job came in on budget, despite taking slightly longer than expected. The house was always left tidy at the end of the working day and all rubbish kept neatly outside. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Due to problems with St Albans Council Planning Dept we ended up hiring Adam and his team to refurbish our kitchen. This involved opening up the existing door between the dining room and the kitchen, blocking up the door between the kitchen and conservatory and making good. They also installed new wiring, fuse box, plumbing and kitchen units, tiled the walls and floor and painted. From the first meeting Adam and his colleagues were always polite and friendly. We had various members of his team present depending on which phase the job was in - builder, joiner, electrician, plumber, labourer etc, all of whom were on time and worked hard often late into the evening and on Saturdays. Not all spoke English but there was always someone at the job who did. They prepared the area every morning with dust sheets and cleaned up in the evening before leaving. The job took just under 3 weeks which was a little longer than originally estimated but we were given regular updates so we were aware of planned completion. The final product was of a very high quality and all remaining little bits of work were completed before they left the job. Their quotes do not generally include materials and supplies (the estimate will state this) so remember to budget for that. Adam did send me regular account updates with scans of receipts for everything they bought so it is immediately clear what you are charged for. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Hunbuild again for any future work we have done on our house.

Andrew and his team were very prompt in everything they did. I received a quote 6 months before actually going ahead, and the price remained the same. Everyday, the workman were on time, very polite and best of all, very clean. Dust sheets etc covered all the carpet areas, and any mess made was hoovered everynight, and all rubbish etc put outside the house. They worked late into the evening with very little break etc and also worked long shifts on a Saturday. The completed job was of a very high standard, and we were very impressed. Others who have seen the job are interested in hiring them going forward. We were so impressed, that we have hired Andrew and his team to do our second bathroom. The quotes provided for both were very competitive, and I would recommend anytime. You could leave them in the house if you needed to pop out etc, and they were always very polite. Hunbuild Ltd are a professional outfit who worked tirelessly to complete the work much quicker than expected despite the job becoming more complicated than first thought. They worked long hours throughout the week and on Saturday. The team who were assigned to carry out the work were punctual, polite, and friendly. They laid sheets down inside the house every morning and vacuumed every evening. They also went to great trouble to match the 100 year old roof tiles which look like they are the originals. We would thoroughly recommend them to other people and would not hesitate to use them again.

We were very pleased with HunBuild, the builders were very polite and tidy and finished the job to a very high standard, always going the extra mile. Communication throughout the project was excellent and we would have no hesitation using HunBuild again and recommending them to others.
