Initial contact was through Andrew, who came across as professional and honest. The quote offered for opening up the wall between kitchen and dining room was competitive and the job could be started quickly. The completed work was completed to a high standard and I would recommend.

Andrew, was professional and fair from start to finish. We had a few trials and tribulations along the way as any build does, but the way Andrew and his team dealt with it was perfect and the price was good too. I hope to work with Andrew and the team again in the future. My house features in the Hunbuild pictures, I would happily let anyone visit the site before committing to Hunbuild.

Andrew is great and the team worked to schedule (quicker actually) and it was a dusty old job removing our chimney breasts and putting in a gallows bracket. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic ! ! Hunbuild priced me very competitively for the removal of the chimney breast in our living room from start to finish the Hunbuild guys led by Valentine (foreman) completed the removal in quick time and with very little disruption doing a fantastic job in fitting the supporting gallows bracket which was subsequently signed off by building regs with no issues. I have also had Hunbuild to do me various other jobs ( new skirting and architrave throughout, a new staircase and painting throughout the house all of this has been done to a very high standard !) I have been that impressed we have decided to have more structural works carried out by Hunbuild with more follow on work for the Hunbuild guys. Well done Hunbuild !

Andrew gave us a competitive price for the job and came across as a no-nonsense, honest & reliable person. He rewarded me putting my trust in him by always turning up on time, overcoming problems and doing a good job, on time and in budget. His team were polite, cared about keeping the dirt and dust to an absolute minimum and put in a good shift every day. I was keen there should be no mis-understanding over precisely what I wanted him to do and he was always patient and willing to answer my questions. I have now selected him to carry out some additional work too.

I was extremely pleased with the internal restructuring work that Hunbuild did. They explained the process clearly and were priced very competitively. Builders arrived promptly each day and were courteous and polite. All the work was finished to a high standard. They were also happy to come back and finish up any issues that I pointed out. Initially we had planned to remove an internal wall between our kitchen and living room. After HunBuild's visit it became apparent that the independent surveyor we had used (not related to HunBuild) wasn't thorough enough and it transpired the job was much bigger (and much more expensive) than anticipated. We then opted to go for a 'breakfast bar' - this involved knocking out a 1.8m x 1.25m hole in the wall and installing a wooden worktop. A concrete lintel was also fitted and the remaining wall made good. The job took appox. 3 days to complete. The guys were tidy, punctual and extremely professional. Even though the job was smaller than initially planned, nothing was too much trouble for HunBuild. They were very transparent with their pricing and extremely competitive. We are hoping to do a loft conversion at some point in the near future and hope HunBuild will be available to assist. We would highly recommend using these guys to anyone.

Hunbuild were hired to carry out a simple internal wall removal on a 3bed semi detached house. Due to a change in our plans it turned out to be a much bigger job. A steel RSJ 'frame' was installed to prop up the back of the house and removal of the ground floor internal load bearings wall and pillar. Hun Build and Andrew, our project manager, did a fantastic job of managing the entire renovation. We were particularly pleased with the flow of information from the site team to Andrew to us meaning me were kept informed of every detail along the way and with regular site visits from Andrew kept us confident a good job would be done. Having showed us how competent the team were we asked Andrew to install a new kitchen and paint and decorate the new open plan area. We also trusted Hun build with a new wooden floor install and a few other small bits around the house. Now 2 months post completion, and despite the costs having spiraled, we are extremely happy with the result and we have asked the team to return to put in a new bathroom and wc this year. I would highly recommend Hunbuild. It is difficult to find a trustworthy and competent builder that really cares about the job and is happy to finish at a high level. They are not cheap but then you pay for what you get.
