Sean Hawkins is a skilled bricklayer and stonemason, who I would recommend and use again. Sean provided me with a price to construct a new wall, using reclaimed bricks, and to lay a new path and stone step. Sean's price was competitive and well laid out. He was clear about what materials and quantities he required. He kept me informed about when he could start, and started on the date arranged. He worked in some poor and cold conditions, and came prepared and soldiered on in all but the snow we had. He worked hard, cleaned and tidied up at the end of every day. Sean is a stonemason by trade, having worked for a very prestigious company prior to setting up on his own, an this gave me comfort that he could achieve the particular standards I was looking for him to meet, Sean did everything he possibly could to help us achieve those. I have had a lot of positive comments from my neighbours; I have even had comments from the Amazon deliveryman, and have seen others doing a double take as they pass the house, the wall and the beautiful path. All I can add is that I wish I had more work for Sean to do, and I wish I had found this skilled workman earlier in my list of projects.

Did a great job of fitting lintel supports to our 2 bed semi, did the job promptly after quite a disasterous start on our part and at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend and use Sean again

I cannot commend Sean highly enough - he should be your very first choice for all building & structural repairs. It is rare to discover such an informed, skilled, detailed & considerate tradesmen. Where some may only have used sand & cement, Sean also used lime - a proper builder who administered proper long-standing repairs. He was punctual, unobtrusive & the workmanship displayed excellent. He also had the good grace to clean & tidy thoroughly when complete. Thank you, Sean. Should we require any such work again, we will certainly not hesitate to consult you.

Sean arrived on time and repaired the crack in the wall well. He was a clean worker and polite. I would recommend him.

Sean has done a really good job. We needed to change the spec after discussion and he was quite happy to do so. I also got him to do some other work for me whilst he was here. He is a very pleasant person and it was pleasure to have him do the work. I would have no hesitation in employing him again
