Having never instructed a builder before and not having been able to find one upon recommendation locally, I reluctantly started researching on the internet. My two main concerns were finding someone reputable who could be trusted to complete the project to a very high standard. After a few weeks, I stumbled across Sean's profile and was comforted by the feedback of his previous clients as well as the fact that his expertise lies in restoration work. Although my project (a garden wall) was pretty basic, it was important to me that it was built in keeping with the Victorian brickwork of neighbouring houses.
To cut a long story short, Sean was absolutely perfect. He arrived well in time each day to start work, was extremely respectful of my property in terms of protecting the floors from dirt and was very polite and pleasant to deal with. He took a great deal of care over the walls that needed building and the end product far exceeded my expectations. He had to do the bulk of the work during extremely bad weather but pushed on with no complaint to ensure he met the deadline.
All in all, I could not fault his technical ability or service and would highly recommend him to others. I am already considering him for a future job!
