Sean responded quickly to my request for a quote and has subsequently completed repointing work and patched up a garden wall. He also repointed around part of the chimney breast which he discovered needed doing for no extra charge. Sean did a fantastic job of repairing, cleaning and repointing our house in Orpington with natural lime mortar. He was incredibly easy to work with and got on with the job with no fuss whatsoever. He was always punctual and kept us informed of progress every step of the way. The house looks great as a result of the work, receiving lots of positive comments from neighbours and passers by. On a separate note, Sean is a genuinely nice bloke and went above and beyond the call of duty by bringing the bins round, taking delivery of online shopping for us and even watering some plants at one point! This was a challenge for any 'pointer' of crumbling walls, particularly as our semi is a Grade II listed building (pre-Victorian) and the 'filler for the pointing' had to be a specific and special 'mix' for the wall in question. Sean managed to complete the mammoth task (+-70 sq.m) in just two weeks and much to my satisfaction. In addition he highlighted a couple of other problem areas which were causing water infiltration into the basement and ground floor areas of our house. At no further charge he fixed these! The entire process was smooth and stress free. All areas were rigorously swept, cleaned and hosed down at the end of each working day. PERFECT. I have nothing but praise of the highest order for Sean and Jordon (his helper). If you want a job well done, look no further - hire Sean Hawkins!
