Derek was highly professional from the minute I contacted him to explain the issue to when the job was completed. All work was done to a high standard and I would have no hesitation hiring him again.

Derek was prompt and professional, the job was completed to a high standard. I was most pleased with the interaction, a second bigger job followed next day with an equally great outcome. Derek is now my go-to plumber, would definitely recommend to others.

As soon as I put in the details of the jobs required, up came a list of traders. I chose D West & Sons as they are local. Derek was able to fit me in on his way home! He did all of the jobs to a high standard and his fee was very reasonable. I shall be using D. West & Sons in future.

Very professional, thorough and tidy. Price as quoted talked through everything. Only negative as with most tradesmen is they dont take the waste away. Now left with 3 radiators to dispose off with the refuse tips closed.

Very professional and polite service. Despite being Easter Sunday evening Derek talked me through a few things over the phone to ascertain the problem so when he came on Bank Holiday Monday it could be resolved swiftly. Extremely happy with the service provided and result will definitely use him for any future jobs and would highly recommend.

I got in touch with Derek West of D West & Sons for a condensation issue I had with a exposed pipe in my kitchen, which was resulting in mold and aggravating my Asthma. I couldn't have been more impressed with Derek's knowledge, sense of urgency and good communication and customer oriented skills. He explained clearly as to what was causing the condensation, the remedy, sent me the link of the shop where I could buy the materials and when he learnt I was under the risk category and self isolating, he even drove to me to drop off the laggings (free of charge) He didn't let me pay towards the fuel either. Goes to show he's not out there just to make money and takes "duty of care" towards his clients seriously. I highly recommend Derek based on my aforementioned experience.
