    Removing two internal walls
Fantastic work and service. Adam and Julie were able to come and quote at short notice, what made them stand out from other builders was the amount of detail they went in to. They were the only ones that noticed that there was a chimney in the wall. They went through what that would mean for building and structure. It all made me feel very reassured. The quote was provided within a couple of days. I've had experience of quotes taking weeks. This was produced quickly and in detail. They organised for a structural engineer to come out and sign off their plans, Plans which were shared with me, and in such detail that I could send them off to my kitchen designer. The speed at which the team worked was excellent. Walls were removed and the floors were swept within a day. They went above and beyond when they tried to find a new radiator after my existing one wouldn't fit in its new location. Fast, Professional, well priced. 10/10

    Qualified Builder with insurance
met Julian on first day she went through what was going to happen. Adam was so good with communicating and made me feel at ease. The only issue was I wish they used more of a curtain to protect the lounge as rubble was flying everywhere, even when Julian did her best to clean it up also another builder said Adam could have used a better supporting block to hold the lintel more securely though the work was passed so other than that they was fine. Adam did want to leave my door (to another doorway not the large opening) lintel in as it was a old wooden one but the inspector said no. I also wanted to leave it in but it wouldnt have passed building regulations. Other than that thanks for your work adam

Removal of internal wall between kitchen and diner
From the start, Adam and his team have been amazing! Adam really knew his stuff, giving clear advice and a great value quote. Chris, and Lee (plus Julia) were such a pleasure to have in the house to do the work- they were tidy, great to chat to, knowledgeable and worked really hard to get the work completed and to an excellent standard. They were considerate about all the detailing and talked me through all the stages. Couldn't recommend highly enough. They even helped out an elderly neighbour get home safely! 10/10 top tier lads and a 10/10 job.

    - Property owner **Customer description** Hello. I'm looking for a builder with several excellent reviews to remove this old wooden window, cut out the wall (between A & B on the plan) and fit a upvc pair of French or sliding patio doors. The radiator will need removing and a new vertical style one fitted on the exterior wall. I would like the exterior French door wall and reveals insulated with celotex, plasterboarded and made good. Then insert a beam to engineers spec/ above points C & D and remove the wall below creating a kitchen diner. Opening approx 1800mm. Then make good. Also block up the original doorway from hall to rear reception room. The entire kitchen/rear reception room area will then need to have new flooring. If there is any budget left I may stretch to a small patio. The house is currently Empty apart from the chap fitting the new bathroom. Please only apply for this work if you have some excellent feedback, it would be helpful if you have an engineer who can do the beam size too. Thank you. Mark. Added 7th July, 2020: --------------------- A vertical designer rad in the reception room, sort of thing you can get from Screwfix. A normal white double panel radiator in the kitchen. The position of the new kitchen rad is close to the flow and return.

Very happy with the work Adam and his team did for me. Good communication. Good workmanship. Would definitely use them again. Thanks Guardian Developments.
