What a great team, adam was brilliant from start to finish, very knowledgeable with regards to the steels required and the gallow bracket which he also had made bespoke to fit the job, he completed the work in stated time, Adams college Seb was a cracking lad also very helpful, thanks guys, would use again and also recommend, great job all round

Brilliant workmanship from Adam and his team, brilliant and clear communication from Adam throughout the whole process from quote to sending all the drawings after completion. Adam and his team were professional throughout, tidy, polite and have done a brilliant job in removing one full chimney breast and half of another (where there is a log burner). I would wholeheartedly recommend him :)

I got a really positive vibe from Adam from the moment he walked in my house. I was having a utility room converted into a games room . He knew what he was talking about and was very professional so I hired him. The job is top quality. His van broke down throughout the process though he didnt let this stop him. He moved heaven and earth to get the job done, even working weekends and staying late. He has got a good vision of how the final project will look due to his knowledge of many different trades and can therefore foresee any snags but more importantly how he is going to overcome those snags. 100% would recommend Guardian!

My job was not a simple one due to the amount of wall we wanted knocking down to open the living room to kitchen area. Adam provided first class consultancy on how we would go about it, keeping me informed and educated on the process. The job was completed quickly and his manner was calm despite a few unforeseen issues as you always get with older houses. Plastering was top notch as is drying beautifully as I type. Great man, great team, first class service.

Experienced multiple issues from wrong door sizes being selected, wrong frame size being selected. Ad clearly stated hardwall to be done on walls, they initially arrived with plasterboard instead. Was initially told could be done in a day with all the issues it dragged on for nearly 2 weeks. Never took rubbish away, Job was never finished. However, thankfully I didn’t pay all upfront so did come to an agreement with Adam. I shall not be using them again nor would I recommend them.

I hired Adam to knock through from my front room to the back room and install double french doors. They turned up when they said they would and finished the job very quickly in the quoted time. I found Adam and his team to be very friendly and took pride in the job they were doing. I am extremely happy with the completed job the doors look really good. They made sure they cleaned up before they left and removed all the rubble and rubbish. I will be using them again for sure. Highly recommended.

I can highly recommend Guardian developments. When I found out that the wall was actually load bearing, I almost gave up due to exorbitant quotes I got from several builders, however Adam and his team were able to complete the job skillfully to a high standard at a fair price. They removed the load bearing wall and put RSJ steel beams in place. Adam fully explained what he was doing to address the specific requirements of the job - including regulations and party wall agreement - and made an excellent and tidy job of protecting the floor, the existing furniture and other rooms from dust and damage and also tidying everything up after each working day. His expertise with building regulations and his good relationship with builder controls were key to succeed on the builder control's inspection which made this job completed earlier than expected. Once the inspection was successfully done, Adam and his team plastered everything up very quickly at a very high standard and they also hoovered and cleaned everything up - inside and outside. For my convenience and piece of mind, they took care of hiring a skip and also protected the floor to avoid damaging the driveway flags. Definitely their job stands out among all builders I've hired. My neighbours and I are very pleased with their service, courtesy, punctuality and tidiness.

Adam and his team have done a fantastic job creating a feature fireplace in the void of an old gas fire previously removed and taking out some large internal doors effectively opening up two rooms into one open space. Adam was quick to respond to the advert and provide a quote, turning up to complete the job when agreed. He worked extremely hard throughout completing all work to a very high standard. Adam kept me fully informed throughout the job, asking my opinion/preference when there were options on how the finished job would look. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a friendly person to work with. I am delighted with the work carried out and the huge difference it has made to the feel of the room. I would not hesitate in recommending Adam at Guardian Developments to friends and family and will definitely be in touch in future when we get round to having more works done improving our home.
