Tom was a clear winner in our books. He is as described by other reviewers, very responsive, courteous, professional and incredibly generous. Within minutes of short listing him, he made contact. I liked that he offered us two options, for us to send him measurements or a visit to quote. We chose the latter and this enabled us to discuss our needs and get his professional opinion. Everything he promised he delivered in quality of work, timescales etc. He made an error and ordered the wrong fittings that he was unable to return. He acknowledged the error as his and offered to pay the additional costs. This was one of the many examples of Tom's generosity. We recently dealt with a trades person from this site who in similar circumstances expected us to bear the costs of his error with no apology. Tom's gesture was appreciated and we met him half way on the additional costs. We have nothing but praise for Tom and from now on he will be our go to plumber. We needed a bath panel replaced as our old mdf one kept disintegrating. Tom advised on cost of work and best panels to use. We ended up buying a Halite panel (strong, waterproof and easy to work with) ourselves. Tom arrived to remove old panel and fit new panel. He immediately gave us confidence in his experience and knowledge. He was polite, careful, tidy and cleaned up perfectly. He didn't rush the job, nor drag it out.
