Needed new flashing on one side of roof and a chimney repointing. The price was competitive and Chris was very responsive to communication. The job was done within half a day, the workers were really friendly, did the job quickly and cleaned up well. Big props to them for doing this job in freezing conditions. I had some post job questions and Chris was more than happy to set my mind at ease and took time took time to talk to me, which I was very appreciative about. Would and will certainly use again for all my roofing needs.

The work was carried out efficiently and prompt. Staff were considerate and polite and the completed work looked amazing. However just 3 months after the work was completed, 1 of the newly replaced apex ridge tiles came off in one of the storms, even though before the work on that section of the roof was done the apex tiles had stayed in place for over 40 years thorough numerous storms and had not moved even thorough that section of the roof was in bad condition before the work was completed. So just 3 months later from when the tiles were removed and recemented back on 1 fell off in one of the first storms of the year, and due to this being classed as storm damaged I have to pay to get this fixed as not covered under guarantee.

Once the job had completed, they knocked on the door and gave me an update about the condition of my gutters and roof which I appreciated. Chris and his team were quick to respond and arrange a visit to quote for the work. They were prompt, friendly and efficient over email. They came to do the work on time and were tidy. I am not an expert in gutters - but new guttering looks smart and did its job during lots of heavy rain recently. They fitted the wrong size water butt (supplier error, I think), but arranged a time to come and swap it when I noticed and let them know. Fitting guttering seems to cost much more than you would expect, so this did not seem like a good deal, but compared to some other quotes we received, it was good value.

Quick site survey and competitive quotation including precise description of the materials use for the job. Turned up on time on the day and finished within a day as promised. Very happy with no complaints at all. Thanks to Chris and the Empire team!
