Empire UPVC & Roofing Specialists LTD reviews (491)

I would highly recommend Empire Roofing. Chris and his team go above and beyond to ensure they are providing a fantastic service. They were very friendly and accommodating.

The job was to cap four chimney pots. I don’t often write reviews, but very happy to write one for Chris and his team. They got back to me really quickly, discussed the job and quoted, again really quickly. Overall a very fair price as well. The two chaps arrived (earlier than discussed, but that benefitted me to honest) both really nice and friendly. Whilst the first pot was easy to fit the other three were quite difficult to access and it proved to be a little challenging as the pots were positioned between two gables. Both men took extra care whilst using a second ladder on the roof not to damage anything, but fortunately we got it done in the end. They even noticed a broken tile while up there and as I had a spare kindly replaced it. Actually when they got down they noticed the first cap was slightly off centre and went back up to re-position it which was good of them. Overall, very happy and would wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Job completed on time and to quote. Chris’s team completed a really good job and were very polite and courteous. A very professional service with a follow up satisfaction call within half an hour of the job being completed. The team completely removed all waste and cleared up. I can tell service means everything to them and it pays off for both tradesmen and clients. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services and will be using them again when the occasion arises. Thank you to all at Empire.

Overall I'm really pleased. Chris was in touch very quickly after my job was submitted to Mybuilder. A survey was arranged, the written estimate was also received within a day of the survey which meant I was able to agree on the price and give the go ahead quite quickly. A date was arranged for scaffolding to be erected and for work to start on the replacement soffits and guttering. Although there was a delay of a few hours to the start of the work (afternoon rather than morning) it was completed on schedule the following day. The new soffits and guttering look really good as does the new covering for the flat roof over the porch. I'm pleased with the end product. I chose Empire out of 3 candidates because Empire provided a quote in writing (a lower priced quote that didn't include the scaffold or VAT was only verbal and the promised written estimate didn't materialise). The final candidate was discounted as I didn't like the aggressive responses he'd given to negative feedback. Empires reviews were good and Empire just came across as a more professional organisation. The roofing team were all polite, courteous, worked hard, respected my property and left the site very clean and tidy afterwards and I think they did a really good job. The scaffolding company used by Empire were a good choice too.

was really pleased with our roof, cleaned up all mess, very polite young men

The job that was finally completed was the job that should have been done in the first place. To get them back was an ordeal. There so busy it took weeks.

Very efficient and professional. Arrived on time and pleasant.
