Overall I'm really pleased. Chris was in touch very quickly after my job was submitted to Mybuilder. A survey was arranged, the written estimate was also received within a day of the survey which meant I was able to agree on the price and give the go ahead quite quickly. A date was arranged for scaffolding to be erected and for work to start on the replacement soffits and guttering. Although there was a delay of a few hours to the start of the work (afternoon rather than morning) it was completed on schedule the following day. The new soffits and guttering look really good as does the new covering for the flat roof over the porch. I'm pleased with the end product. I chose Empire out of 3 candidates because Empire provided a quote in writing (a lower priced quote that didn't include the scaffold or VAT was only verbal and the promised written estimate didn't materialise). The final candidate was discounted as I didn't like the aggressive responses he'd given to negative feedback. Empires reviews were good and Empire just came across as a more professional organisation. The roofing team were all polite, courteous, worked hard, respected my property and left the site very clean and tidy afterwards and I think they did a really good job. The scaffolding company used by Empire were a good choice too.

Selected from expressions of interest. Not the cheapest quote but liked the detail of quote/method statement. Was very impressed with 20 year insurance backed guarantee on the roof, which in my experience is not usual on felt roofing. Work was carried out well and the team who did the work were pleasant and efficient. Have now had the opportunity to look at roof through binoculars now scaffolding has gone and looks good. Based on my experience would recommend this company as value for money.

I am very happy with the work done by Empire. Gutters, Soffits and Fascias were replaced and it is looking so much better. All completed within the schedule time and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Workmen were very efficient and curteous. I would recommend Empire.
