I inspected the work and agreed to a price and booked the date. After I went to carry out the job customer told me to flush all the switches and sockets. I explained about the extra work charges. The customer was not happy. Then he asked me to do only 4 ceiling fittings, 07 smart switches and 4 sockets. Price was reduced. The hole for the tv cable is only 2x1 inches. One of the smart switches was faulty. I advised him to get a replacement one but he didn't want to agree with me and told me to connect it. After I connected, it smoked. If I can install 6 smart switches to work how can I do incorrect wiring to one? We are qualified and competent electrician. We have many years of experience in the trade. We can only advise. Capacitors were installed on all smart lights. The second day I went to the property the ceiling rose were opened. It was messed up. I reinstalled it. Regarding the scratch on the floor, I got nothing to do with it. I did no work in the utility room or nearby. I did work in the room and living room. Because the customer is not happy from the start, tried to put the blame on me. If his wife saw it was happening, pocketing a screw, why didn't she point it out straight away? His wife should have pointed to me at the same time, that's the proof. All contradictory. We take great care of customers property. We treat customers politely and in a friendly manner. Customers can write anything but replying to the facts is important.
