About two weeks ago, I paid a small fortune to one of the leading leak detection companies to locate the exact source of the leak to avoid structural disruption to a building . I was told within an hour that it was to do with the seals around the bath in my bathroom based on the results from the thermal imagery and possibly grouting or tiles may need to be replaced. Extremely relieved and armed with this information, I set about finding someone good to fix this. David was amongst a pool of plumbers shortlisted for the job. He turned up early and proceeded in finding out what the problem was for himself based on the facts. He agreed that the seals had to go and replaced. Within minutes, he found another fundamental contributor - the loose bath overflow! None of the previous plumbers had looked or even commented on this. I knew then David was the right and knowledgable person to get the job done properly. And luckily for me, David was also able to do the job straight away. During the work, he also found other issues, such as the outflow pipe was not fitted correctly and bath legs were not tightly screwed in place to begin with. He spent five hours on the job including getting a couple of new parts. I am extremely grateful to David. He used his fundamental plumbing skills and logic to solve a problem, a problem that I hope is a thing of the past for a while anyway! He charged a fair price for the amount of work and time spent. I would highly recommend David.
