Review left on 13 Dec 2019Rating: 3 out of 5Radiator valve leaking(Updated on 26 Jan 2020)Charged more than agreed at the start even though there was enough information in the description and photo to show what needed to be done. I knew it wasn't going to be a straightforward radiator valve replacement as the pipes are 6mm so I told the plumber to just cap off the pipes and disconnect the radiator. Spent several hours in total which shows lack of experience maybe??? Would have done myself but didn't have the time and needed to be sorted asap for the tenants.Answer from tradesperson:
Thank you for your feedback,however I must clarify the situation.We had spoken over the phone and you knew my price,you agreed and that is why you hired me to do your work,when I visited an saw the job was more complex than I had first thought , I gave you a new quote to which you agreed. As stated your job was a complex one and also as you stated had 6mm pipes. To cap the pipes I would need the correct cap sizes and they are available on special order,not same day unfortunately. The fact that I rectified the situation and still managed to cap the pipes in fact shows initiative and expertise not lack of experience as you claim.
