Positive outcome professional attitude throughout.

You know when you put up with creaking stairs for ages and then you think I MUST get this sorted. Well, I decided a few days before a new carpet was being fitted to hopefully end the noisy staircase. I posted on here and within a matter of minutes Chris was able to respond. His other reviews speak for themselves and I am so glad to say he really is as brilliant as other people say. Communication was fab and you will find a very hard working and hugely talented man. His traditional training and knowledge give you a real sense of calm. The carpet was installed a few days later and the entire hallway and staircase look lovely and also more importantly NO sound. Our home is 1950's but it is now like a new build because of the zero creaks. Chris has added value to our home and for that I can't thank him enough. Thank you Chris!!

What a tradesman! If only all tradesman were like Chris. He was punctual, turned up at the time as arranged. Completed the work in a timely manner to a very high standard and most of all solved the problem of the annoying creaky stair case. Simply the best! Very highly recommended. Thank you Chris.

We had a problem with a second flight of stairs and from the start of our communication with Chris he reassured us that the stair case was not going to collapse (which I was really worried about), we sent photos of the stairs so he could see what he would be dealing with and we quickly agreed a date and time to do the job. On the day Chris talked through the job he was going to do and explained how this would be done. Chris is really friendly and professional (loves to hum whilst he works which is actually lovely to hear), excellent workmanship and worked through until the job was finished. Will definately be having him back to work on the first flight of stairs which creak and need servicing. Would recommend him to other people.

Extremely happy with the service and the job was done in no time! I was feeling hopeless after three caprenters advised that I will need to have an entirely new staircase to get rid of the squeaky sound and then I found Chris. Honest, reliable, professional. I would highly recommend Chris. We had a dangerous staircase with broken steps and since he came none of them even squeak anymore. He had to change our initial appointment due to personal commitments but he was very upfront about it and told us straight away so we had no problem re-booking him for a later date.

Chris arrived when he said he would. Very friendly did the most amazing job with my stairs the only thing that creams now are my knees!! Thanks so much for a great job. Anyone with problem stairs Chris is the man for the job. Thank you.

Chris is the creaky stair fixing Wizard! My stairs were incredibly creaky and I assumed they would have to be replaced but found Chris on this site and I am so glad I did. He arrived yesterday when he said he would and set about fixing each stair, replacing what needed replaced (broken treads) strengthening the back plates and inserting lots of screws and glue. My stairs now don't creak at all. Its brilliant! The fixed price was good as well as you know right away how much it will cost. He worked really quickly and only took 3 hours to do the whole staircase. Pleasant guy to have working in your home as well. Thanks Chris.

Chris has just completed my work. This is the first time I have used Mybuilder and was slightly nervous. Chris was great and communicated up to the date of arrival. He gave a set price to complete the work and reassured me throughout. He arrived on time and worked hard. I didn't even notice him taking a lunch break. He explained what he was going to do before and was clean and tidy throughout. I would recommend him to all and also Chris gave me confidence in using Mybuilder again.
