Chris replied and came to see what I needed straight away, and arranged to do the job the following week. This has now been done and is excellent, and just what I needed. Marks 100 per cent. Dorothy, Beverley.

Chris did an excellent job - fixed the broken steps I got him in for, sorted out most of the creaks on the stairs, and also found and shored up a couple of rotten treads as well. He was friendly and helpful.

Chris Ward proved that he covers the whole of the UK by his willingness to drive up to Glasgow to correct our creaking stairs and landing. Having departed early morning from his base near Hull, he arrived with us precisely within his predicted time slot, and after a quick coffee he set to work, continuing without further break until the job was done. The stairs and landing are now perfectly quiet where before they were so bad they would wake up anyone sleeping upstairs. Just as Chris states, the quoted price is what you pay, even though he would not know the exact extent of the problem before arriving. I would add that he is a friendly and cheerful character who obviously is happy in his work, and I would have no problems with hiring him again in future if the need arose.

Chris did an amazing job... He arrived on time and was cheery and helpful from start to finish. Unfortunately for him he arrived when I was having a complete meltdown about a different job that had been botched but he met my grumpiness with a smile and loads of helpful advice. Chris regardless of what others may say .. My dog loved your singing !!! As for the stairs.. I now have not a single creak or groan it's like living in a different house and I couldn't be happier... I would be delighted to recommend Chris to anyone and he was a pleasure to have in the house... Thanks Chris

Excellent Workmanship by Chris. I feel very proud to take decision to hire Chris for this Job. My Mrs still wonders where does all squicking noice of stairs gone? lol.. :).. Silence is golden!! Chris is the stair Genius!! Chris receives top marks for service. He arrived before the appointed time considering the distance he travelled. Chris was extremely polite, friendly and did exactly what he came to do. The silence going up the stairs is worth the price paid. Thank you so much for making that 162 mile journey. We are so happy with the outcome 😊

Chris was fantastic! Kept in touch with me in the lead up to completing the worm confirm everything in a timely manner. He arrived to complete the job in the time he said he would, he was friendly helpful and was an all round nice guy. Whilst that's not a requirement its a help! The job he did was brilliant i honestly cant say enough good things.

Did a great job! Stairs are working as intended, good as new and the tenant was very happy.

We hired Chris to sort out our "extremely" creaky staircase. Every step made a racket. Not anymore - Chris did his magic and what a difference! not a single creak, it's not the same staircase. Nice one Chris!
