Chris is extremely experienced and skilled in his field of work. He quoted for the work and when I accepted the competitive and reasonable quote, he booked a convenient time to carry out the work. Chris kept in touch and always responded to phone calls and messages. He arrived on time on the agreed date and immediately started working. He has all the tools to carry out the work, he setup a little work area outside the house where he did all the wood cutting, no mess inside the house. Chris is fast, efficient and in my opinion, takes a lot of pride and care in his work. He is polite, well mannered, good around kids and worked around us walking up and down the stairs. Chris stated from the start that wooden staircases will always have some noise as they move but he aims to reduce the noise as much as possible. He estimated that he will reduce around 85% of the squeaking noise and fully strengthen the stairs. An opinion shared by both myself and my wife is that the squeaking noise has been reduced by 95+% and the stairs feel extremely strong now. Thank you very much Chris, absolute pleasure doing business with you. I highly recommend Chris for this type of work.

I have lived with creaky stairs for 15 years, they gradually began to feel like they were going to give way. 2 hours work from Chris and my stairs are perfect, I am naturally quite skeptical but his work is amazing. Excellent job and transformed our stairs from squeaky to virtually silent. We were considering replacing the whole staircase so really pleased that we have avoided that.

Initially I was told that steps repair can only be done from the bottom by couple of other trademens and my lounge plaster board wall should be knocked off, repair the steps and close the wall. But i have given myself a second chance hiring Christopher Ward who told it can be done from the above and yes he is correct. He came on time, repaired whole staitcase and completed my job. I am very much pleased by his work. Here after if I have or get any problems with staircase I will give a call immediately without second thought to Chris and get work done.
