Review from geoff87526, Kentish Town, London Review left on 9 Jun 2021Rating: 5 out of 5Leaking roofWilliam and his assistant Del carried out a comprehensive repair to my roof. They were straight forward and ensured quality work. I am very pleased with the roof, which I tested for leaks myself. I had a bad experience from another roofer so it was reassuring to know that there are roofers out there who care about the customer and take a pride in their workmanship. A key point here is attention to detail. William and Del went the extra mile to make sure the job is sound I highly recommend themReview from sarah76583, Upper Holloway, London sarah76583, Upper Holloway, London

Review left on 26 Jan 2021Rating: 5 out of 5Dormer window coverings on roof needs repairingWilliam is friendly and efficient. He investigated the works to be done and discovered that our dorma which needed replacing also had dry rot and water leakage. So at last we knew where the water leaks were coming from. He advised on what needed doing and completed the job quickly despite the terrible winter weather and threat of lockdown. We were relieved. The dorma and dorma window look fantastic and we are very pleased. He was the most affordable and competitively priced. I would not hesitate to recommend William.Review from lorraine_515, New Wanstead, London lorraine_515, New Wanstead, London
Review left on 25 Oct 2020Rating: 1 out of 5Decking and water featureThis builder called William and his Romanian partner called Catlin Bucur scammed me of a total of £24,800 and disappeared. I transferred £10,000 into William Mitton'S Lloyd's account and transferred £14,800 into Catalin Bucur Account. They just dug trenches in my house, removed my neighbour fence took it with them and dump all the soil in my neighbour front garage and just disappeared , leaving my house in a mess and trenches.Answer from tradesperson:
The truth of the matter is Lorraine would not listen to me or her architect. She had a long standing feud with her neighbour. The neighbour well within her rights wanted a party wall agreement. So I stopped work on the project and the money I received was £500 below what work was done. Trying to be clever she went behind my back and employed one of my workers Catalin Bucur directly. When I questioned her she denied paying him money. I personally have a police report against Catalin bucur and evidence in messages to Lorraine. This lady tried to be clever cutting my company out of the contract. I can only assume that Mr Bucur gave her a better price and said she did not have to have party wall agreement. She was asked to attend meeting with police but ignored the request. I am deeply sorry that Lorraine lost her money. The fact is she trusted the wrong person to save money. Any future appointment I can produce evidence of the above

Review left on 26 Sep 2020Rating: 5 out of 5Fit new kitchen + bathroom, some plumbing,(Updated on 29 Sep 2020)Bill is a wonderful builder, generous with his time and efforts, always providing sage advice with any hiccup that occurred during the build and with plenty of excellent suggestions that I had never thought of myself. This was a complete refurbishment job that lasted weeks. Everything that needed done was done - electrics, plumbing, plastering, decorating, flooring, kitchen and bathroom fitting. Both Bill and his team showed up every day early and worked through until the job was done. I know it's nerve wracking hiring people off the internet whom you've never met and giving them high value projects - I've certainly been ripped off by other tradesmen in the past and "once bitten twice shy" - now I don't have to worry when I have something needing done and neither do you! Just call Bill! Thanks Bill!Review from marjorie73591, Walthamstow, London marjorie73591, Walthamstow, London
Review left on 11 Sep 2020Rating: 5 out of 5Replace decking & steps into gardenWilliam was knowledgeable and friendly. He communicated well throughout and listened to what I wanted and provided good options/suggestions. He arranged for the materials to be delivered to my home and provided receipts if additional materials was required. The team were very professional, punctual and polite. They worked quickly and were tidy. William also arranged for the waste to be removed. I had allocated a week for the work on my decking to be done, however they completed it in 3 days! I'm very pleased with my new decking and the cost . I would definitely use them again and happy to recommend them.Review from hairybaboon20, Camden Town, London hairybaboon20, Camden Town, London
Review left on 22 Aug 2020Rating: 5 out of 5Replace basement skylight /improving drainage structure(Updated on 25 Aug 2020)William and his team helped me out with a pretty complex basement leak. a skylight window needed replacing and a portion of the concrete tanking needed rebuilding to ensure a watertight seal. he also dug up a portion of the front patio to improve the drainage system and make sure water was moving away from the house and the basement. then everything was resealed and the room fully redecorated. it was a big invasive job and very tough to get right. before he came, i had a few people look at the problem and either didn't want to do it, or were giving very high estimates. it wasn't cheap but William was extremely fair about what needed doing and what he could do to minimise the cost to me. a few unexpected things came up during the project and he stuck to his quotes. if we added anything extra, he charged it at cost and never aimed to increase his margin at all. the pandemic stopped the work midway so unfortunately the project dragged on longer than planned, but not before everything was sealed. once they could work again, everything that was pending was finished. i can happily say that, despite some intense and continuous downpours since then, the basement structure is holding up well and the drains are working like a dream. it feels good to know the basement is watertight as should always have been! in summary he is communicative, very fair, and generally a nice man to deal with. he will always find a soluion and come back if there are any issues later on.Review from arthur21615, Hornsey, London arthur21615, Hornsey, London
