The chimney was swept and the fire back replaced (which exploded on first lighting, which may or may not have been the installer's fault.) We were never given an estimate, and grossly overcharged, and never given a breakdown of the charges, despite many requests and promises to do so for over 9 months now. We have messages claiming he had sent it, blaming his computer, etc. He eventually replaced the fire back, several months later, claiming the delay was due to a broken hand (although I notice from other feedback that he was able to carry out other jobs during this period.)
