Excellent work, very happy

Quick quote, in contact throughout, turned up on time with appropriate equipment and, importantly, fully liveried van (no unmarked white van). Resolved an invoice query promptly.

The two young men, Jamie and Toby are quiet and courteous. They turned up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, replied to all my emails and tolerated my double-checking their work, and doing some of it myself (e.g. setting the lintel, rendering and plastering) gracefully and they reduced the price accordingly - very good. The HETAS obligation is properly followed up and registered. My only criticism is that their initial estimate is confusing because it includes mutually exclusive options (for you to chose) that are (weirdly) totalled to produce an artificially high price (the final invoice is slimmed down to the chosen items to produce the correct price) - the result of a homemade invoicing program, I think.

I am extremely satisfied with the work carried out by Cambridge Stove Installations. From the detailed breakdown of the estimate, advice given regarding the size and type of stove, the remedial work done on the old stack and installing the flue and stove the work was carried out on time to a very high standard and they left the rooms and outside areas clean and tidy. Very good.

Jamie did a great job. He kept in touch with us with extras. Showed exactly how to look after the stoves and how it works. I would highly recommend this company.

CSI installed a liner to my existing log burner. Communication with this company was excellent at every stage of the job, they came to my home promptly to view the installation requirement and emailed a detailed quotation the same day. I was especially impressed with the quote as it was a full cost breakdown of all parts, something other installers don't always provide. I was able to upgrade the liner spec and fully understand the costs involved. The liner was installed the following week, Both Jamie and Toby did a great job explaining and confirming the work at every stage. They installed the liner safely and professionally without the additional expense of scaffolding, paying careful attention to the roof tiles to avoid any breakage. I would have no hesitation in recommending these friendly and capable lads to anyone wanting a professional and cost effective job doing.

Great service , fast, helpful and fair price

We had a very positive experience with this company, Jamie communicated with us efficiently and promptly using email and was very patient with our queries. They arrived when they said they would and worked through bad weather to complete the job. Jamie provided advice which was very helpful and completed some additional work that we requested on the day. Jamie was very knowledgeable about the maintenance of our chimneys and wood burner. One of the most positive experiences we have had with workmen, would definitely recommend.

Removed fireplace plinth and bricked in old fireplace. Would highly recommended CSI to anyone. I live in sheltered accomadation and hired them to do the above work for me.
