The communication was unusual prior to the booking. It’s like he’s farming out work to non-English speaking tradespeople for a cut. The guy who arrived wasn’t prepared for the job - limited floor and wall protection (he used what I had), few tools, not enough adhesive so I had to go out and get more. He was still here at 9pm, the room was a mess - so I just said I’d finish it and tidy up and he should leave.

Ped and his main team of fitters worked fantastically hard the first week of the job. During the second week any snags were quickly sorted by Ped, and he was really helpful when we asked for help with a few extras, like converting some spare worktop pieces into shelving. The only grumble relates to the electrician Ped subcontracted to. There were a number of issues related to his work. Overall though we would recommend Ped for other jobs and definitely use him again for more work on the house in the future.
