I have been working within the building and construction industry for the last 10 years. Started off with carpentry in college and then university to study architecture. Hello My name is Darin Hey and I have been in the building industry for 24 years . Did a 4 year carpentry apprenticeship in New Zealand and have national qualifications. I have worked on New builds and alterations to houses for most part of my building journey . But can do most aspects of building , no job is to big or to small. I had my own business back in NZ with 9 staff building high end homes . I moved to the UK ( as my dad was born here ) 2.5 years ago with my wife and 2 kids and am looking at starting my own business again .
