Based on architect recommendation, we contracted Alain on a private basis to produce structural engineering designs for our home renovation. He undertook a site visit and then produced structural designs to support a large number of elements related to new support beams, lintels etc. These have been iterated with the architect and the process has been very smooth. He was very responsive and nice to interact with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a structural engineer for the type of project we undertook (loft conversion, new pitched roof, new openings within walls and ground floor open plan conversion)

We hired Luca for a job that involved a variety of work across our entire flat. Being totally new to renovation work and having been stung by other builders, meeting Luca was a breath of fresh air – he was friendly, helpful and honest. Luca did an great job for a very reasonable price. He’s fairly new to contracting bigger jobs, but he’s got a lot of previous experience as a tradesman and his plastering in particular was perfect – we’ve had loads of compliments on the quality of his walls and ceilings. He was always on time, always communicated with us fully, and was a pleasure to have around the flat. He made a real effort to keep disruption as minimal as possible and was very patient with us about stuff needing to be moved from one place to another. It wasn’t the easiest job and there were a couple of problems and extras, but Luca takes a lot of pride in his trade and worked extremely hard to keep us happy. We had a couple of plumbing issues arise but he went well above and beyond to resolve them, coming back for 2 days after the job was due to be finished to make sure that everything was working properly. This is far more than we expected, and we did really trust that Luca wasn’t the sort of person that would leave anything unfinished. We’re so chuffed that we met Luca and with the excellent work he did, and would love to work with him again. Luca is going to go on to big things, so if you get the chance to hire him now, we'd recommend him without hesitation.

I agreed a price and schedule of works with Muli (Flamur Marku). The day before, he changes the start time from 9am to noon. On the day, I call him at noon, to ask if he is still attending. To which he replies, "I was just about to call you, I'll be there in an hour". I say to him that it is not a good start to our business relationship. That he should at least have informed me that he would not be attending. He said, just forget it then, and put the phone down. I want to warn other customers of his potential short comings, and to have other potential builders on hand.

My experience with Leszek was entirely positive and I wholeheartedly recommend him. I had recently moved property (converted victorian flat) and required a new kitchen installed, shelves built, radiators replaced, painting throughout and some changes to electrics. The work was undertaken around October 2020. Leszek completed the work to a very high and professional standard and I am really happy with the end result. He was easy to get on with, good natured and commutative which made the whole process easy and less stressful for my first experience in home improvements. Leszek was always happy to answer all my questions and further explain the fine detail from electrics to kitchen installation. When small problems arose, he always had a couple options ready to discuss and called promptly to keep me up to date. The kitchen installation is perfect which also included tiling a backsplash. Lezek built some lovely selves in the recesses either side of my fireplace which look brilliant and very smart. The painter and his work was really professional and speedy. Snagging was dealt with and two neighbours independently and proactively commented that the work was done with minimal disturbance to them. From quote to completion it was all in all an excellent experience!
