He took us a show some of his previous work and we felt confident in giving him the job of our loft conversion and garden gym building. He has a team of hard-working professionals and they made the job go very smoothly and efficiently, from day one. He started his timeline and even though we had small issues along the way which is to be expected he always had a solution or more than one solution for us and was mindful not overspend on our behalf. Honestly, we could not have asked for a Builder and the end result is really beautiful. The team were very friendly and polite and cleaned up behind themselves every single day. They put a new roof for my shed, had to move existing loft opening and made a new opening with a loft ladder and painted the front of my house. Their work was so super clean and very tidy which I reach appreciated everyday as I come home from work tired and didn’t have to clean anything! They came on time every morning carried out their work very professionally, I couldn’t have asked for better builders. A fair bit of a mess and dust etc but know that can happen with this type of job! Shortly after commencing the project, he came up with variations, denying several things were not included in quote when we asked for a complete quote for refurbishment. He then started cutting corners and did terrible unethical things which of course building controls refused to sign off and ran off with money paid to him then started threatening me which of course I had to report and document with the police. I had to correct what he did at great cost to me and waited this long just to complete the project first before taking up this matter. I kept all the records carefully and plan to sue. We have recently completed our whole house renovations along with loft conversion & rear extension. We posted project descriptions in mybuilder.com. Many people showed their interests. We invited 7 builders to discuss about the project. Among them, 5 builders submitted the quotations. Raj was the highest bidder. However, we awarded our project to him. The pros: 1. His written quotation was more details & clear than others. 2. He referred us a good architect and a private building controller. They knew each other & worked as a team. 3. Very small team and he worked one project at a time. 4. Excellent time keeping. 5. Applied good quality materials. 6. Good workmanship. 7. Advised us along the project what fittings/bath/ kitchen etc materials should we buy. 8. Excellent communications. 9. Very accommodative. 10. Accept payments both cash & Banks transfer. The cons: 1. I felt a bit expensive for extra work we added during work.

They completed the entire project in record 6 weeks and the overall project was done ahead of deadline with excellent craftsmanship.
