The work is ongoing I have some holiday cottages and he has done a lot of work plumbing plastering and restoring. He started off by doing a small plastering job and the work has snowballed from there. Fitted outside gate, built two in-cupboard wardrobes and fitted shelf in downstairs cupboard. Dyfrig worked with us to design what we wanted, and also suggested better options to give us more space in the wardrobes. Dyfrig began work as discussed in a timely manner, and completed everything to a high standard. Dyfrig was extremely professional and courteous, even though he was very busy with other work commitments at the same time. Dafydd and his team have fitted a new welsh slate roof on part of our farmhouse, built a rear retaining wall, fitted surface water drainage to the rear of the building and rendered one of the two gable end walls in lime mortar. The jobs have been carried out to a very good standard and the workmen have been excellent in both carrying out the work and looking after the property whilst working there. They still have one gable wall to complete but due to weather conditions and the use of lime mortar this will be down when the weather improves. Whenever I have discussed any part of the work they have been quick to react positively. Overall really satisfied with the work and will be hiring them to fit new concrete floors inside the house and Dafydd has already organised a visit from a heating engineer to give a quote on central heating. One final point, the financial cost of the work completed has come in just as the initial quote stated which was very welcoming given scare stories you hear of every increasing bills. No such problem on this job and overall very pleased with Dafydd Lloyd's work. Daniel made an excellent job of fitting my Howdens kitchen units for me. He is experienced, hard working and conscientious and can turn his hand to almost any job. It took a little longer than estimated but was still completed for a reasonable price. He even gave me some free eggs from his own chickens !Latest review:

Rhys, the guy who fitted the internal fire doors worked hard when fitting our internal fire doors. After getting a quote and feeling that James (Kelvin) knew exactly what he was doing, I was pleased I was going to get a bad job done well. After starting 2 months after the date quoted and paying a large amount of money for materials, which weren't delivered as quoted, Kelvin eventually started work (end of October), knocking down existing roofing, and leaving it without any cover for me to move between my house and bathroom, we then had the heavy rain, which he did say was on its way, causing water to get into my house and the bathroom. When he did start, being at work I couldn't see exactly what was going on. These are the problems we are now having after asking Kelvin to leave the job. After moving back door out a little, and external drain now being exposed on the inside of the house, it covered as an eco drain. After placing the cover (which we now know doesn't fit) over the drain, it was concreted up, which is against building regs, leaving any debris in the drain, so after having rain again this has flooded causing water to spread under existing flooring. Bad electrical work - with no name of electrician or cert as requested Life wires being left exposed Bad plastering - which Kelvin admitted he was no good at Roof leaking - no name of roofing company to get back to Floor tiles which he laid v v very badly - loose and able to take up without use of any tooling and not breaking any. He responded swiftly to my request, came and measured up and talked through the work, gave me a prompt quote, booked me in, dropped me a line the day before to remind / check all was good to go, and then worked like a horse to finish the job, all to a really high quality.
