In life you really get what you pay for. With Durham and his team they came in at a fair and competitive price. He broke down every aspect of the quote to explain how much it would all cost and why, this gave me a great understanding and allowed me to prioritise different areas and allowed us to work in our budget. From start to finish everything was taken care of and his response was always don’t worry we can sort it. He always has a solution and goes above and beyond without hesitation. He really does treat his work like he is building his own house which means even if you agree the bare minimum, he will do extras just to ensure customer satisfaction. The detail is 10/10. After agreeing on a price for loft conversion and back extension, Mr Rattan kept increasing the price by referring to minor things. Like charging extra for plate that goes on steel. First day when he turned up, he demanded that owner should provide tea and snack for his labour every day. Also he was not ready to include the agreed price on the contract (as he was sub contracting the job to someone else). Glad we cancelled him and hired another builder in his place.
