Get in touchWayne was very quick to respond to my posted job. Arrived at the day and time as agreed. Explained the problem clearly, and what needed to be done to resolve the issue, which was the the upvc front door lock had stopped catching. Wayne fitted a new gearbox ( had no idea that's what the locking system was called) on the spot. Slight hic up followed a couple days later when a screw came out and couldn't be found. Massaged Wayne who was very apologetic. Day and time arranged to refit a new screw, but unfortunately Wayne had to cancel this appointment. Another one made for a couple of days later for which he arrived and completed the job. No further hic up after this being done. Dealt with Wayne remotely so didn't get to actually meet him. But communications via phone calls and messaging he sounded a very nice person. I was given a quote by Wayne, but the final bill was a bit more than i expected. Get in touchSean contacted me very quickly and was upfront with the costs for doing the work. Came to see what needed to be done and then ordered the parts required. Unfortunately when he returned to do the work the new locking mechanism was faulty, so he had to reorder a new part which he fitted the following day. He spent time adjusting the doors which now open and close much better than before. I would definitely recommend Sean and would use his services again. I'm a Specialist Engineering Professional exploring the option of completing odd-jobs on the side. Have experience in various trades, have completed work in my own home and had building control inspections where I was not qualified to complete work and sign-off myself. Transparent in what the issues were & kept me in the loop on costs. Allowed me to ask any question and answered with no hesitations. Offered to clean up afterwards but I declined but was nice to be asked. Polite to my neighbours and stopped as they had a flat viewing. All round very pleased & would happily recommend to anyone I know who needed work done with their windows.
