Dean fitted our kitchen in July 2017. He undertook kitchen fitting, tiling, flooring and decorating the kitchen. I cannot fault him on his professionalism. He kept in regular contact throughout, gave competetative quotes and was always forthcoming with suggestions. When things didn't go to plan ( due to design and kitchen delivery problems) he was helpful about what could be done to fix the problems. He took initiative to fix unexpected obstacles that came up. He has been back after the job was completed to look at any outstanding issues. I would recommend Dean to anyone who wants a good job doing by an honest tradesperson.

Wakefield bros have been great from start to finish. Sammy contacted me with a quote and follow up call. She requoted me based on my needs and I asked them to come in. They sent someone out to measure up and then arranged a date. They sent me a mock up of the design so I could see what they had in mind. Once I’d paid the deposit they booked me in - was approx 2 week turnaround. The builders were advised of my job role and were respectful of that as I was working when they were in the house. They got the job done quickly and got me to have a look at it half way through the build. I was very happy. They cleaned up between each section and left the space spotless. When they were clearing up they were mindful of my job and were very quiet. I’m very happy with the work done and have Wakefield Bros planned for another job I want doing in the new year. I received quotes from numerous companies for a complete house renovation including a double story side/rear extension and single story kitchen extension to completely transform a property from an old 3 bed semi to a modern 4 bed. Paul from PMCS Joinery came out as scheduled and was quick to provide a comprehensive quote that was broken down and detailed so I was clear what was included/not included and it was transparent. The quote was competitive and as Paul had come highly recommend and I’d seen some of his work I went with them. A start date was agreed and work commenced on time. Paul managed the project ensuring all work was at a high standard, Paul was always on site. All trades he brought in were professional and quality. Paul and his teams joinery was exceptional, all his staff polite and courteous. Any extras or challenges Paul managed and talked me through any ideas, options and costs. The quote was honoured despite materials rising. I’ve recommended PMCS to many friends, neighbours and family. The house has been complete to a high standard and I’ve been pleased from start to finish and highly recommend them. I am an honest and genuine handyman, I pride myself on good work and customer satisfaction. I have built lots of walk in wardrobes over the years, something that I feel makes a big difference to a room if space allows. I can put my hand to most jobs but promise that I won’t accept a job if I don’t know what I am doing. Certain things just have to be left to skilled professionals, rather than bodge a job and leave the customer with problems down the line I would prefer to turn it down. Bradley responded to my request almost immediately and came within an hour to look at my wish for a bathroom upgrade . I explained what I would like doing he offered helpful suggestions and pointed out any hitches that may occur but that any problems could be resolved which put me at ease straightaway. He also sourced most of the fixtures for me which was a great help to a senior citizen the quality of work and finish was of excellent quality. Bradley and Dylan were very friendly and kept me informed at all times, they arrived when the said they would, cleaned up and took away the old fixtures, fittings and all packaging each day. Tomasz our kitchen fitter has been extremely helpful throughout the planning and fitting stages. He kept us informed with any necessary changes, even when the kitchen was delivered and Wren got our order mixed up. Tomasz helped us correct it, to the point that he accompanied us to their showroom and spoke with them clarifying what was needed. He ensured all the appliances were fully tested and working. My advice would be to speak with a kitchen fitter before you buy your kitchen. The fitters have a wealth of knowledge, particularly on where to get the best value units, and which to avoid. We have asked him to do another job for us and are waiting for this to commence. We hope this would be another positive experience. Five Stars for Tomasz.
