Avoid – Poor Planning, Broken Promises, Incomplete Work Hired Paul & team (managed by David Smith) for a bathroom, media wall, wardrobe, and kitchen. From day one, delays started. Promised start at 8:30am — no one came until 11:15am. Paul falsely claimed all work would be finished in the first week, yet the wardrobe was never started, doors never delivered. Bathroom tiles were wasted due to poor planning, and fittings like the fan, mirror, and cabinet weren’t completed. Media wall still has exposed sockets and no fire fitted. My radiator cover was also damaged. Paul made a separate unpaid agreement with my neighbour to remove waste — I wasn’t informed. I paid over £2,465 including deposit and extra materials. They froze the job midway and demanded staged payments not agreed in the original quote. When I asked for work to be completed before further payment, they stopped. Complaint now filed with MyBuilder, Trading Standards & Citizens Advice.

He is an exceptional and extremely kind and helpful worker. His work is outstanding and he pays so much attention to the details. the kitchen looks super. Apart from fitting the kitchen he repaired the some floor tiles, took them out carefully added more support before installing them again without damaging any tile. He also fitted an electrical valve on the main water pipe in the kitchen to allow cutting off the water if needed without moving the appliances which is a pain. He will be coming back to fit in 7 doors soon. His work is perfect and I do recommend him highly for doing anything you need as he proved to have exceptionally tremendous and varying skills.
