The space is a difficult and awkward size so some adjustments had to be made but he communicated with us throughout to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Nigel really did come to our rescue. Our builder has cancelled days before and left us with half demolished kitchen for Christmas. Nigel responded to the add and came the next day. From the minute Nigel arrived to the day he left 4 weeks later we had total confidence and worry free project. Nigel not only did our kitchen and dining room, he took one extra work such as a new bathroom upstairs and down and did some much needed decorating of our hallway and stairs. Everything completed was with complete transparency and honesty. Nigel not only saved the day for us with his work, but also befriended my 3 year old daughter and took the time to play and engage with her when she was around the house. That personal touch to everything Nigel did was fantastic topping to an excellent tradesman who knows how to complete a work to a very high standard. Nigel, his brother Paul and the team of trades he introduced us to were the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will most definitely employ all of them again in future work and its safe to say I have found a tradesman for all future work in your properties. It's a real relief and pleasure to have a trades in the house who you can trust. The stress relief from that alone is priceless. Pete was helpful from the outset, giving me different supplier options and explaining the process in a way that built confidence. We eventually settled on Howdens, who only dealt directly with tradesmen. That said, Pete was happy to work for his very reasonable fitting price and passed on all the trade discount, unlike another joiner who was cagey about the item cost. The final design was £4500, which saved me a lot of money. There was a fault with an end panel that I noticed after he'd completed the job, which Pete fixed willing at no extra cost. Pete is a joiner with a wealth of experience and is honest, friendly and easy to deal with. Pete's attitude is to be straight in his dealing as he knows that this pays off in the end. I have no hesitation in recommending him, and indeed he'll be changing doors and fitting wood flooring throughout the house for me in the near future.
