Liam is hard working, punctual, tidy and honest. He genuinely wants the best for his clients. His work is to a high standard and at a fair price. After 10 years of being a carer my kitchen and bathroom had fallen to ruin, he resuscitated them with a positive spirit and could see the potential in them which some other contractors could not. We are so grateful we hired Liam, he has done a wonderful job.

Disappointing is the overall feedback. See below: 07/02 - Agreed a job to fit 2 internal doors at a cost of £130. 20/02 - Door was fitted, but an issue with the bathroom door lock was made aware to me. Ravaun agreed to come back and sort the lock. The job was paid for with the agreement that he would come back and resolve. 21/02 - The door handle company confirm the error was made by the fitter, as each part is cut to size. This made sense as Ravaun took the part with him, so I couldn't share pictures with the company I purchased it from. 26/02 - I followed up as I hadn't had any updates. Ravaun confirmed he was on leave and I wished him well for the holiday 11/03 - I followed up again as I hadn't heard anything. No response received. 16/03 - I followed up again. Ravaun confirmed he had extended his holiday. 02/04 - No response to message 03/04 - A response to confirm date 09/04 09/04 - No show. Excuses about phone numbers and WhatsApp just made the whole episode even worse.

I couldn't be more happy with the porch that Dave & James built for me. I have a character property and had a very specific idea of what I wanted and they got it spot on. They were extremely sympathetic to the original cottage and my new addition looks like it has been there forever. I decided to go with an Oak front door which James fitted and it's perfect. I was very pleased to see both Dave and James turn up each morning before I headed off for work so that we could have a catch up. I really, really appreciated this gesture. The work was completed on time as promised. I will most definitely be using David James Construction in the future with the landscaping of my front garden being the next project. He listened to our requests and has come with good solutions to our problems, including recessed shelves and replacing the hot water cylinder with a combi boiler, to give us more space in the bathroom.
