I also take on small projects like porches but nothing really bigger than that. The most important thing about any job is what YOU want and expect and a polite and respectful tradesman. Travelling distance is not an issue at all so don’t be put off if you live in a different area. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile .
Latest review:Kitchen Fitting-There are no words to describe how incredibly happy we are with the work done by Ricky. He came to do a relatively straight forward job and unearthed a significant safety risk with a gas fire that we would never have known about. Ricky stayed with the job until completion, despite it taking much longer than expected and supported us in some very difficult conversations with other less professional and trustworthy trades men. We cannot recommend Ricky highly enough and will most definitely be asking him to come back for a number of other jobs in the New Year. Huge thanks Ricky for helping us to get sorted before Xmas. At the start, both my wife and I really liked and trusted John. He appeared to be knowledgeable, professional, and the man for the job. Until the work started… Work wasn't started on the date agreed upon as he was changing the starter motor on his van. However, he must have forgotten that he’d already used this as a reason for not coming out to my property a week earlier for a survey. Monday of the following week I received a text message to say he had some appointments and be at my property at midday. Midday came and another text saying there was a delay in his appointment At this point, alarm bells were starting to ring. The following day he arrived ‘early’ at 9.45 am, and leaves at 2.45 pm Then the next day he was due another early morning text saying he had turned around as he wasn’t feeling well. At this point, I’d had enough of the excuses plus the fact that the work completed to this point wasn’t to a good standard and was completed so slowly. Amongst other issues, he only ‘self-leveled’ a small patch of the kitchen floor leaving large parts of it unlevel. I could go on… I made the decision to inform John his services were no longer required and reluctantly paid for the work he did. In my experience, John was unreliable and at the first sign of difficulty would rather complain than complete the task at hand. He overpromised and underdelivered. He gave me no confidence that he’d complete our kitchen and bathroom in the time frame agreed, if at all.

Mathew has been very helpful in carrying out the work in our utility room to a high standard. He installed the worktop, cupboards and unit and also put up shelves in the wall. His quote was reasonable and did the work neatly and on time. I would happily get him again for my next project...
On time, measured up, produced a door jamb in his workshop, came back and fitted it. Speedy, efficient and a nice job. Just got on with it! When I next have a joinery job, I will call him.
Work completed promptly and efficiently. Chris did a great job.
