I am passionate about woodwork and have made everything from kitchens and work-tops to double doors and sash windows. In between large building projects, I do general carpentry for homes such as fitting doors and floors, window repairs - including replacement of rotten frames and sashes - and creating and installing pieces of furniture to clients specific tastes and likings.
I have no hesitation in recommending Adam, and would certainly choose him for future work. Adam worked with his apprentice, James, replacing an existing kitchen. It entailed: removing existing base units and tiled floor; installing Wren supplied wall and base units; installing a bespoke U-shaped solid-oak worktop with hob and sink, part of which went through an existing hatch; plumbing in a sink and outside tap. I was really glad I’d avoided an overpriced Wren installation! Adam might have taken longer, but did a great job at less than half the price together with jobs that would otherwise have required additional installers. I prefer to work alone on such projects as kitchen & bathroom refurbs, in which I am able to complete all aspects from start to finish - including installation, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, decorating and tiling. I have public liability insurance.
Joey was polite friendly and professional. He arrived at the time he specified and did a very good job plastering our bathroom. When he had finished he left the bathroom clean and tidy. We were so pleased with the plastering that we have asked Joey to tile and fit a new bathroom suite for us. We have since asked Joey to finish our concervatory with skirting boards again a job very well done. George did a fantastic job renovating our kitchen (Replacing all doors, plinths and decor). He is highly skilled, and very professional. He had an amazing selection of tools to complete the job. He arrived on time, was extremely clean and tidy in his work. And he returned to finish the details. He was reasonably priced. We would definitely use him again and I highly recommend him.
