Terry was brilliant. He was there on time, he worked quickly but also explained what he was doing and why. The quote was not the cheapest but i felt he was the right man for the job as he obviously knows what he is talking about and didn't try and 'up sell' the job. He didn't come across to me like a 'sales' guy, just an honest man explaining what would need doing. He was professional and friendly. He' s work is neat and he left the place in the same state it was in.... I would recommend Terry to anyone that is looking for work and i would defiantly use him again. Good work Terry.

No complaints with the work carried out and we are very satisfied. During the quotation Terry was to only one to check both flow and water pressure were suitable for boiler. He also advised us that there could be an issue with the 'buried' pipes - although this was not an issue in the end. During the work itself Terry was always polite and courteous, keeping the mess to a minimum. The quality of the work seems sound - although I am no expert - as well as neat, particularly where the piping is visible. A couple of snags were identified and these were quickly dealt with. The job took half a day longer that quoted and on two nights work was required into the evening, however this was not an issue not us. The additional work did not incur additional charges. In summary we are happy with the job.

We can't recommend Terry's service highly enough! We had couple of quotes from number of engineers, some came for a look, some even quoted on the phone without Showing up. Terry was the last one who came, and straightway, we know he is the right guy to hire, confident, honest, friendly , most importantly highly professional, knows exactly what he is talking about.  The job involves updating to a new combi boiler, remove old central heating system and also replace two radiators. Before starting the job, Terry discussed the plan with us in detail, ensure we are comfortable with what he is going to do and understand why he is doing certain things. Terry came on time every day, decent work throughout, finish the job on time, very neat pipeworks, minimum mess at site, and after the job is done, he even spent some good time to explain to us patiently how everything works.  What's also worth mentioning is that the next day, we experienced a little problem with the cold water tap in the bathroom,  we phoned Terry, and he came as promised, checked everything and found out the problem is due to a faulty tap, even though it's not his fault, he still Kindly help fix the problem and also offered some very valuable advice. We are really pleased with Terrys work, professional, friendly and efficient, definitely 10 out of 10, will absolutely use his service again, and would like to recommend him to everyone we know! Terry was the first person to actually try to answer my question on mybuilder.com (rather than just put his name and number up) which I thought was a good starting point and, although our broken central heating has been a bit of a saga, his initial diagnosis was correct. The work has taken quite a lot of time, because Terry has had to resolve a number of issues with the boiler and the central heating pipework to be able to fix the underlying problem. On each occasion he has arrived promptly, been very thorough, e.g. explaining everything that he is doing and offering advice as to what we might need to in future (in terms of replacing the boiler), and all in all has just done a really good job. I'm really pleased that Terry was the person who we chose to take on this job (although I'm not sure he would feel the same - the boiler was a definite challenge!) I will definitely recommend him to others as the costs have been more than reasonable and the service good; above all, however, Terry is a trustworthy, skilled and efficient engineer.

I posted a job relating to an overflow which I put down to be due to a repair required to a boiler. Although, I had never met Terry before he gave me great confidence as he not only diagnosed the fault before arriving at the property but also told me how I could try and fix it myself. I instantly hired Terry and arranged for him to attend the property which was a tenanted property and he agreed to invoice me after the job was completed. Terry arrived promptly, solved the boiler problem and diagnosed a further problem which was related to the toilet cistern. Terry stopped the overflow and completed the job he was hired to do and left the tenant fully satisfied. It was coincidental that the toilet cistern was causing the overflow. I later spoke to Terry and he told me he did not have to do very much so he reduced the charge from what he had initially quoted which I thought was very honest. I was fully satisfied with the work that Terry had carried out and I would not only use him again but would highly recommend him.

We hired Terry to source and fit the five new radiators in our home. When he came to give a (very reasonable) quote, he gave such helpful and honest advice that we also hired him to source and fit a new boiler we had been considering. Terry turned up exactly on time each day, and did a really high quality job. He ensured we were faced with minimal mess and disruption, and gave a detailed and helpful explanation of how everything worked at the end of the process. We're really pleased with the results, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Terry for any similar work. Excellent!

I had a number of people come to see and quote for the job, but Terry filled me with confidence from the start that he knew exactly what he was talking about and would not only do the job, but do it right. The job was a conversion to a combi boiler, including relocating the boiler position and upgrading the gas supply. Not only did he explain the need for that upgrade, but he insisted on finding and connecting to the correct size flow and return pipes, even though that was certainly more work for him than simply hooking them to the nearby radiator. Others might have just hung up a nice big boiler with the existing pipes, and left the customer to assume it's working optimally when it's actually not. Terry offered useful advice throughout, and was also flexible when I changed my mind on the route of some pipework. He did the install at short notice on a weekend especially because my old boiler was non-operational, and worked flat out 12 hour days without breaks. He has a clear work ethos, also evidenced in his use of a quality electrician, who spent far longer than he might have got away with remediating an old piece of poor workmanship. He wasn't the absolute cheapest, but was still competitive, and I am certain he did far more than the cheaper ones would have. Punctual, polite, and as clean as you can expect on a big job, I wouldn't hesitate to fully recommend Terry for any central heating job.

Terry responded very quickly to my post and he was the first to phone me too. I was posting this project on behalf of my sister so I was concerned about letting a "strange" man in her house. He appeared very friendly on the phone and enthusiastic about a job which was probably a small job in comparison to what plumbers normally deal with. I gave my sister his contact details and he was able to remotely diagnose the problem [which was great to have a starting point] He waved his call out fee came and saw the job and knew exactly what was wrong. Parts £30 labour £30. Thanks Terry for not ripping off my sister 2 little kids and a new born baby thank you too.
