Hector and his team did a great job on the recent renovations to my flat - installing a new en-suite bathroom, renovating the main bathroom, renovating the kitchen, painting the entire flat and installing new spotlights throughout. From start to finish of the project, Hector and his team were very professional and accommodating. Hector was very prompt in providing a quote, which was competitively priced. The guys in the team were all very nice; hardworking, courteous and tidy. They were able to start quickly, and they finished on time and budget. It's difficult to find reliable and trustworthy contractors. I was apprehensive, after tendering for quotes - some contractors didn't respond, didn't follow up, or quoted ridiculous sums. I am very pleased that I selected Genesis, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Hector and his colleague Eleazar did a very professional and sensitive job, particularly sanding and oiling the old wooden floorboards. I’d definitely use him again.

Hector and crew completed an almost total refit of my 1930s two bedroom, third floor, no lift flat, and they did a wonderful job. The plumbing, electrics and heating were fixed/updated/reworked, old damaged walls re-plastered and painted, new combi boiler installed, radiators replaced, cabinets built and improved, woodwork stripped and painted, new lights installed, tired parquet floors sanded and refinished and then a beautiful new kitchen fitted. I was a nervous, anxious client and the team (especially the amazing Wilson and Oscar) dealt with every "drama" with patience, professionalism and perseverance. The entire team were all helpful, punctual, conscientious, resourceful and flexible. And despite working in very cramped, crowded conditions, were always good natured, tidy and organised and allowed us to come home every night and carry on some sort of life on a worksite. I would not hesitate to recommend Genesis (and have already passed on their details to friends and colleagues) and I am so happy to have found a group that I can trust for any future building work. Hector and his team were fantastic. They were brilliant in coming up with solutions that would fit our budget and totally understood the end result we were looking for. The team were polite, dedicated and in constant communication with us making sure everything they were doing was absolutely right and to our liking. Everything was finished to the highest standard. if I had to be extremely picky I would say the only thing that could have been better was some of the email communication but that was still satisfactory I really can't complain. I fully recommend these guys!

Really impressed with Hector and his team and have no qualms about recommending him. They have done a superb job on renovating my little house for rental, too often over the years I have been left feeling ripped off and disappointed whenever i have had dealing with builders etc. Only wish I had know about him and his team years earlier, they do a great job, would highly recommend.

We were initially looking for a company to install a new shower room but Hector and his team ended up working on the entire refurb of our house including: new coving, panelling, repainting the entire property, new w/c downstairs, built in closet and the shower room. The team were really great - policy’s, tidy and very focused on delivering work to a very high standard. Overall we were very happy with the project. Hector was very easy to deal with and flexible. Above all, the team took great pride in their work which was reflected in the great end result.

I hired Genesis to carry out a full renovation of a fifth story flat is Islington. The renovation included rewiring, re-plastering, new bathroom, new kitchen and various decorative bits. Hector's team showed great integrity throughout the project. They are also hardworking and friendly, taking real pride in their work. Hector himself is very experienced, knowledgeable and likeable. In addition to carrying out the work that was requested, he offered suggestions on how to create cool style and finish. Overall, we were very happy with Genesis. The project was completed on time and to a high standard. I enjoyed working with Hector and his team and would definitely recommend them!

I hired Genesis on the basis that Hector, with whom I had the initial consultation was honest about the damp proofing situation in the flat. I had had a £16,000 survey and quote from a specialist damp-proofing company, however Hector, who had worked in that industry, assured me that there was no damp. He gave his ideas for the flat and came up with a detailed quote for the refurbishment. I probably could have got the job done more cheaply, but I was happy to pay a little extra for honesty and peace of mind. I did arrange for another builder from 'My Builder' to meet me to quote, but he never turned up. I negotiated a slightly lower price with Genesis and the work was completed ahead of schedule and to a high standard. Ioan, the foreman and his men worked hard and communication between us was good, with changes to my requirements effected without difficulty. There was an issue with defective tiles, but this was resolved quickly and at no cost to me. I was very satisfied that Genesis had done the job, particularly with the attitude of their personnel. Genesis were professional to deal with, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for further work.
