The work under taken by Guardian Developments was second to none. From pre-construction to completion, the communication was great, the employees carrying out the works were friendly, helpful, kept me up to date and clean, the finish on the brickwork after the installation of the steel work is fantastic - highly recommend

Excellent right from the start kept in contact with dates. The lads that arrived were right on time and were very professional carried out the work to a great standard cleaned up all the mess afterwards and even got the skip collected the day after honestly couldn't fault these guys at all would definitely recommend and if I have a need for any more building work I will definitely be getting them back.

Adam and his team have done a fantastic job on our recent renovation throughout the back of the house. Not only is the work to a really high standard, the guys attitude and professionalism is top notch too! Very clear and honest about the job throughout and kept us up to date day to day, as well as giving advice before the job starting to ensure we achieved the desired goal. I will 100% use them again in the future, worth every penny, hard to find good reliable trustworthy trades a lot of the time. Anyone considering having any wall removed or any kind of structural work done will not be disappointed! Thanks again to all the team!

Overall brilliant job they managed to get the chimney stack off and 2 full chimney breasts down in a day. Only negative was the roof took longer to repair than I would have liked but Adam did warn me that they had a lot on at the time before he took the job and the weather was against them.

Adam and his team were outstanding in removal of chimney breast and knocking down load bearing wall to open kitchen/dinner. Adam provided quote on a spot and explained all the proccess in detail, didn't feel pressured at any point. Team has a 'can do' attitude and ensured they discussed everything before proceeded to work each day. Very punctual, hardworking with great communication. Also, unlike other contractors Seb and Chris didn't have tendency to cut corners and completed extra jobs without having to ask. Will trust no-one else to complete future projects around the house! I invited Adam to quote for the job after reading all the good feedback on My Builder. Upon meeting Adam he explained simply the entire process and put my mind at ease that he knew what he was doing. His competitive quote was the clincher and I hired him for the job. I am so glad I did as the whole process was hastle free and simple. Adam and Seb turned up when they said they would and completed the work over two days. They cleared up after themselves and all waste was removed from site as agreed. I was pleasantly surprised that even though an internal brick wall was removed there was minimal dust created. The building inspector from the Local Council came round and passed the work saying that it was a very good job. I think that says it all about this building company. Their communication is first class and work is done to a high standard. I am so glad I hired this company and would have no hesitation on using them on future projects or recommending them to family and friends.

Adam and the team were great throughout this job. Prior to us even booking in with them we were slightly nervous about aspects of the job, as it was the first time we were getting builders in our new house, and Adam came around one evening after finishing another job to go through our questions about the chimney breast removal. He explained everything in simple terms and we made the decision to go with Guardian Developments. From booking in with them they started within a week. Before they began we had a few issues we uncovered and Adam told us ‘they deal in solutions’ and helped us work through them. Seb and Kris were there for the duration of the job, with Adam joining for the plastering. They communicated really well while they were here, letting us know how they were getting on and where they were up to on the schedule. I managed to maintain working from home while they progressed with the job. The works overran slightly, mainly due to lack of light in the rooms being worked on, but this was just a couple of hours mainly for tidying up. I am glad we went with Guardian developments and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to carry out similar work.

Having had a bad experience with our previous builder, I was quite nervous about embarking on another project but I was impressed with Adam from the start. Excellent communication throughout, efficient and friendly - Adam and his team did a great job, left the site tidy, and followed up with me afterwards to ensure that the building regs were sorted and that I was happy with the work. Highly recommend and would use his services again.
